Only a month for a break? :0 That’s not long enough. XD
I hope I can get that old brown here and to you before the end of June. e.e He hasn’t shown up yet…of course, it took the seller a couple of days to figure out how to pack him to my specifications and then update the shipping charges. XD *was a pest* But if I can’t, no worries. =) I’ll just keep him until you’re ready.

Actually I won’t get a month, I figure it will take me until mid- to late July to finish what is here and on it’s way.
So I might get three weeks where the only things i am fiddling with are mine.

June 8, 2008 at 12:08 am #686822I guess I’ll wait to send you my gargoyle. I still haven’t got my new computer anyway and that comes first. XD So yeah. I’m not in a hurry right now and I don’t want to add to your list. ^^
June 8, 2008 at 1:35 am #686823You have 30 pieces to be fixed in your possession at one time?! Whoa! 😯

Yeah, I kinda figured fixing things would cut into your ‘vacation’! So you should take a longer one if you want! You could work on those PYO kirins I got you. 😉 Or your emperor!
Purpledragonclaw is right, 30 pieces to fix is a lot. I’ll keep the brownie until after your vacation. 🙂
June 8, 2008 at 3:10 am #686825Wow! I’m glad I got my castle in when I did. You did a wonderful job on it. You truly deserve a break!
June 8, 2008 at 3:16 am #686826So how many windstones total have you fixed so far?

Good question….last count was about 30, but that was months ago, I’ve had to have fixed at least another 30 since, so roughly about 60, not counting what is here to be repaired now.

June 8, 2008 at 4:29 am #686828I hope you start feeling better and can get refreshed! My little guy can wait to end of summer or fall (or later), no problem!

Sorry but he is badly out of position in several areas and I am going to have to do some major tearing down and rebuilding to make it look right.
This is why I ask that I be the one to piece it back together, just easier for me in the long run.
I would say the Spectral is halfway redone, still a lot of areas to fill in and redetail, but the paints I need for him got packed, and Melody won’t be able to get it to me for at least 3 more weeks…ouch.
Same goes for everyone else I was waiting on paints for, sorry guys.
I will be working on Zym’s dragons, the Peacock OW, and several others this coming week. I will be busy most of tomorrow, but should have some time to work on things on Sun.
Also, Stephanie, all your other repair items arrived today…and 2huberts, you other Scratcher arrived yesterday, he only has two little chips…
I’m sorry these are taking me so long, part of it is no time, and other obligations both for work and personal life, but I am trying to get a handle on it.
Mmloda, your dragon is behind Koishi’s items, and I have about 3 others before her, so it will be a little while, also Melody can’t send me paints until they get up to Oregon and dig them out of whatever box they are in, so even when I get him repaired, he may be waiting for paint for a little while.
At this point many of these will be waiting on factory paint, due to the move things have been a bit hectic for Melody and things that were simple have gotten a bit complicated, but rest assured we are in communication and she and I will work together to get your items repaired, restored with the right paints and back in your hands as soon as we can.
Thanks for all the support and understanding. I do have everyone’s items safely either still in their boxes or in my spare display case with labels of what belongs to whom. I also have my master list with things in some kind of order of repair, though things I have paint for will be done sooner than others.
Kyrin
Thanks Kyrin, ther is no rush, I was just wondering because I know that you are swamped right now… 😉

June 8, 2008 at 5:25 pm #686830eek! 60 pieces is a TON! Even 30 is a LOT of Windstones! Sorry about gluing him back together. 😳 I thought I’d be helping. Took me about an hour or two and I TRIED to be careful. Thanks again for helping out so much Kyrin!

It’s okay, I’ll deal, but it is going to take time to get him how he should be, but we’ve got to wait on paint anyway, Melody says it will be about 3 weeks before she can get it to me.
Meanwhile I will keep restoring his details, work on the ones I have the colors for, and slowly get these on their way back to their homes.

June 11, 2008 at 10:07 pm #686832Okay, it’s official…Zym Dragon dragons are done! Stick a stamp on them!
The white Scratchers are just about done as well.
Laphon’s boxes and other critters arrived yesterday.
Drgnlvr’s box arrived today.
And Sapphire’s latest purchase needing to head her way arrived today, I can’t remember if they needed any repairs, so I will open them up and look at them before I get ready to send them home.
Looking at Zym’s dragons, they look really good with new gold, did you know the color of each dragon’s eyes is different, the female, which is older, her eyes are an orangy yellow hue, and the male’s are a more reddish orange, kind neat to see the differences between older and newer. Also, Zym, your female’s right eye has an inclusion in the glass of the eye, just so you know I didn’t do it, it looks like it’s been there a long time.
Anyway, I will get their final coat of sealant on them tonight, and then they can be packed up for their return trip home.
I can’t remember off the top of my head who is next, but I will get on it asap. Wolfen’s Spectral is coming along as well, I’ve been working on him off and on, since all those tiny scales that need rebuilt are slow going, and I’d go insane if I tried to do them all in one go.
I guess that is it for this update. I will try to take some pictures of Zym’s dragons a bit later.
Oh, and Amanda, your Old green young arrived as well.
I think that was everything.

June 11, 2008 at 10:27 pm #686833Thank you for letting my know about the old green youngin’. Let me know the male and him are ready to be sent home! Thank you so much for all you do!!
We Love You Dr. Kyrin!!!!
June 11, 2008 at 11:27 pm #686834,_,
I was re arranging my curio cabinet today and I went to move my white lap dragon off the shelf…
banged her horn against the wood and immediately set her back down…
her horn wiggles now… and so does about a quarter of an inch of scale around the horn x_x
it’s not immediately noticeable, only if you touch the horn. Hopefully I won’t knock it off, it seems like it will stay in place
I was thinking of putting some glue around it just to keep it on. I don’t think I’ll be sending her for a long while and I thought it would be a good temporary solution, what do you think? Elmers or Krazy glue?
