October 1, 2009 at 4:22 am #785272I always find myself wishing we had a ‘sticky’ for this info! I just ordered some more muse stones yesterday, I get these in the SS09 size.
October 1, 2009 at 7:16 am #785273Good idea :).
I was wondering if anyone could please let me know which stores they shop at online? If eBay, could you please let me know the stores or sellers that sell tiny gemstones? They’re not easy to find sometimes, lol. Thank you so much! 🙂
October 1, 2009 at 9:10 pm #785274I got some tiny, tiny stones from dreamtimecreastions.com–I mean I went blind putting them in the swap piece I painted for Leigha! They come in packages of 144 or so and not all colors come in all sizes. I went for the pointed back Swarovski elements. Leigha did make the comment that they really sparkled. So that is another place you can check out.
October 6, 2009 at 2:52 am #785275I also found a big assorted mix… anybody try this company?

Thank you so much LadyFirebird :). I’ll go take a look!
October 7, 2009 at 4:30 am #785277I know that I have posted a couple threads on this topic, and I have seen many more people wonder the same thing. A sticky for this info would be very handy!!
October 7, 2009 at 4:38 am #785278I usually buy from riogrande.com but fire mountain is a good source as well. (Rio has cheap diamonds)
October 7, 2009 at 4:54 am #785279Great idea for a thread. It’s painful trying to search out the answers with all the PYOs sizes scattered in different threads >.< One thread that lists all the sizes for all the PYOs would be much appreciated!
Also, if anyone has eye sizes for all the PYOs as well, I’d love to know them! So I can figure out if I can trade eyes for another color with someone who has a pair that was for a different sculpt. I don’t have all the PYOs with eyes separate to measure them myself. >.<
October 7, 2009 at 10:48 pm #785280If everyone can find their old threads, post the links or info here. If we get enough info, I can update the first post so all the info and such are at the beginning.
If anyone knows the “mm” sizes for the stones (and the eye sizes), I’d like that info too. 🙂
October 7, 2009 at 11:41 pm #785281I haven’t used gems on the unicorn personally, but in this thread, two members use 1mm and 2mm in the unicorns tail and mane depending on the hole size, while another member said she used 3mm gems in certain places but said “some of the spots are iffy”. Maybe others can confirm whether a 3mm will work or not.
Also, here’s a link to a PP-SS-mm conversion chart I found on the interwebs for anyone who needs to buy in measurements other than mm.
http://www.stephenarnold.co.uk/Tools/SizeChart.pdfOctober 7, 2009 at 11:47 pm #785282I just found that thread, too! 😆 I will also add the keeper to the list.
oooh, and I like that chart!! Sweet!
Thanks! 🙂
October 8, 2009 at 3:04 am #785283He he.
About the eyes, in this thread Melody stated the PYO Keeper’s eye is 11mm and a forum member said the PYO young (small) dragon’s eye was 8 mm. I might be able to measure a PYO gryphon’s eye soon.
October 8, 2009 at 3:07 am #785284OK, the info is being compiled!
And does the wolf have a spot for a gem?? I don’t have a wolf PYO so I have no idea. I can’t remember ever seeing one with a gem…
If there’s anything else that would be helpful, just add it to the thread! 🙂
October 8, 2009 at 4:25 pm #785285No real gem spot on a PYO wolf.
