This is kind of a test of the new ‘reply’ buttons, which are boggling my mind (why does it say #1 when I preview?! ahhh!), but also, I wanted to say…I am much happier with my PYO now. e.e If my person drops out, I’m going to hunt them down and shave them bald, though. Just so you know. <3

Got the final clear coat on my piece tonight. All that’s left it putting in the eyes and attaching the final pad.

Any tips for the eyes? I’ve never had to do it before and it’s got me nervous. :puzzled:

Idk which sculpt you’re doing, but usually a drop of Elmer’s Glue in the socket and then just slip the eye in, and you’re done. o.o The only one I’ve noticed getting a little cross-eyed if you don’t position them just so is the wolf.

I finally got started..mostly because I have been thinking, and thinking of how to paint it! I got a good section done, and now I hope it will ultimately come out beautiful!

Thank goodness I’m not doing a wolf then. LOL! I’ll dig up my glue and give it a try later tonight then. Hopefully it’s as easy as it sounds.

I got about 90% of the color coat done, next comes my favorite part… Antiquing. 😛
I really like it, and can’t wait to see it finished. I most likely won’t glue the eyes or jewel in, just incase they want another color.

I put in the eyes without any glue, just to see how the colors went… and one of them wouldn’t come out! My husband finally managed it, but some of the paint chipped. Easily repaired, but man, I was envisioning having to antique and clear-coat with the wiggly eye in!

Today was a warm, sunny day so I got a chance to take him outside and put a coat of sealer on him. YAY, no rust this time!! 😀
