I literally almost burst into tears when I saw the lap a minute ago. Other than the labradorite lap (which sold well out of my price range & well before my time), I think this one is probably my favorite color scheme for that sculpt.

Showed it to my husband who commented, “It looks like yours.”

“But this one’s blue!”

“Yours can be too, just stick her picture in Photoshop and change the colors.”

Hmph. Males. Well, at least he didn’t tell me to repaint her! LOL

I haven’t liked that Sky Bronze scheme at all, but it is breath taking on that Lap Dragon!

0_0 There he is! I’ve been wondering when that griffin would show up since I saw him in that store photo ages ago (it seems) I’m usually too defeatist about e-bay pieces, but I’m going to have to try for this one 😀 My ocelot would love a melanistic brother to guard books with.

I’m liking these past 2 orientals, but for the area of grey in the center… it reminds me of car primer and looks like it forgot to get painted x.x am I the only one that that grey area is bugging? I think they would both be stunning if the paint was consistent front to back.

Umm.. yeah.. about that.. Sky Broze Lap.. I kinda.. sorta.. won her.. yeah..
totally unexpected though, I was at my max and thought for sure someone would out bid me! These rarely sell for less than $500. Not complaining, I love the blue top scales and white belly, and aquamarine is my birthstone! But with taxes coming up I probably shouldn’t have gotten her, if its not absolute true love I will let you all know. 🙂
