Well, I contacted the seller who — as I feared — tried to pretend that their packing job was flawless. When I asked why then did the cats arrive damaged, the seller said that the damage must have been there before they were packed. That’s funny… they were advertised as being “in excellent condition.” After I brought up that point the seller apologized and refunded my money. I’m still not sure what it was they apologized for though, bad packing or lying in the auction description! Maybe both.
But now all is well. I just have to get on Kyrin’s waiting list to get the little guys patched up.

Refreshing to hear an eBay story turn out well so quickly, isn’t it? 😮 😆 I was pleasantly surprised!

Glad to hear everything worked out. Yay!
February 10, 2009 at 6:24 am #684038I’m glad to hear you got your money back, though it’s pretty lame that people try to wheedle themselves out of responsibility instead of justing facing up and saying, “Sorry, I made a mistake.” It’s not really that hard.
February 10, 2009 at 2:59 pm #684039That is great that you got your money back, and now you can fix the kitties… 🙂

February 15, 2009 at 3:42 am #684040😀 😆 Yabbadabbadoo! I just got the tiger cub! He only cost me one arm and a leg and a bumper and my firstborn (she’s 46 and I don’t think anyone would want her except her husband and she wouldn’t go anyway!) and two back teeth and my left ear, but he’s worth it! I’m so excited I just can’t wait to see him! I really love all the big cats (and the little ones too!) and the tigers are my favorites! This little guy just reached right through the computer and melted me! I am SO happy! *doing snoopydog happydance* What a Valentine Day present for myself! I love my collection and I’m not usually so expressive when I win a piece, so this one is an exception. So I thought I’d share. I will try to post pictures of him when I get him, although I’m pretty bad at it. So, hotdiggitydamn!! I am one happy camper!! 😆 😀
