Well my stuff to Canada and from Canada to the states has always survived… even if the people at customs seem to like to poke holes in the boxes…. 🙄
Technically this girl was a gift, that I’m not sure I wanted. But he ‘lost’ the receipt so I can’t return her. And I don’t want to sell her. It’s a long story but the giver wasn’t my fiancee. 🙄 *sigh* I have mixed feelings about her. I love her sculpt I love the color, but I don’t love why I got her.
She’s mint with tag and box, bought from Donna Rose in West Ed Mall (it was on the bag, and it wasn’t hard to deduce, the person who bought it lives walking distance from West Ed Mall…)
Oh she’s pretty! Reminds me of the one that I had in my keeping for a few months before giving her to a friend who loves her wholeheartedly.

I love to see that happen. During certain times of day I’ll get nice flashes of stones from my dragons on my shelves 🙂 . Very pretty momma dragon. I love that color for her.
I just got the Leafy Cat Sconce today 😀 . I bought her in Salem in a neat gift shop. The shop had some current pieces i really wanted, but some of them were really marked up. Example – Emerald Peacock Lap dragon was 250 dollars, instead of 191 dollars 😯 . I opted for the Leafy Cat because she wasn’t too far from my price range and I’ve wanted her for quite a while. She’s very lovely except for the fact I found a small chip near the bottom of her tail when I got her home. Teach me to buy first and look after 🙄 . It will be an easy fix, though, and I do love her so.

Salem, MA? If so, then I think I know what store you are talking about. +$100 markup on emperors and OWs. Ouch! I appreciate the ability to see before I buy and hand pick my piece (especially since Windstones vary so much), and I’m willing to pay more for that ability, but not that much >.<
Or is there a requisite from Windstone that stores located in cities named Salem must drastically markup their prices 🙄 *
Anyways, now that I’m done ranting, 😳 congrats on your leaf cat and Dragon87 on your mother dragon 🙂

Yep, Salem MA. They also had a an Emperor and Rising Spectral in Peacock and some Rubies. After seeing the price of the Lap I didn’t even bother entertainig the notion of getting one of them. That’s okay, my hubby was with me and he would of had a heart attack if I even bought the Lap. It was funny to because the clerk was convinced the Riser Spectral was a Rainbow. It wasn’t, but I wasn’t going to argue with her.

Isn’t it GREAT when we know more about the products then the people selling them??
I can’t really blame her. The newer Peacock color is quite different from the original color. But yes, it is kinda cool to knowing a bit more than the ‘experts’ 😆 😈 .
I got a male peacock dragon for $46 plus shipping on Ebay. I kinda felt bad, I didn’t reach the researve, but my bid was the highest and they accepted anyways. It doesn’t have a box, but it’s in perfect shape aside from a bit of dust. They did an excellent job packing it.
It’s my first Windstone!! (After drooling over them for 10 years or more!)
