Well I just voted for the first time – I’m 26! Until February 1, 2010, that is. XD
April 29, 2009 at 11:06 pm #565334I got my first one (Flame Fledgling) a year ago. π I was 18 at the time, and actually had some money vs. now, in college, no money at all it seems lol π
April 30, 2009 at 12:56 am #565335Okay, this topic has made me feel quite old. I want to know when I went from being one of the youngest in a group to be one of the oldest? Maybe not so much when, but how did this happen? What is even more depressing is that I may be one of the older in this forum, but I also have one of the smallest collection. Maybe I’ll sell the kids into white slavery and buy some more! Yeah, I like that idea. I bet my husband wouldn’t even object. This idea has potential!! π

May 3, 2009 at 11:48 pm #565338Not enough to cover your listing fees.
May 6, 2009 at 8:41 am #565339Better than a kidney, I think! π I found an ad once that said she was advertising her husband for sale, a nice clean housebroken man, helped with the housework, etc, but he said either the cat goes or I do, so she was putting him up for sale!!! π Sounds like he could go for some Windstone money! π
May 14, 2009 at 10:24 am #565340I got my first Windstone last May I was 53 then, I didn’t even know they existed and when I got it I was amazed how beautiful it was and wanted more so now I am up to 31 and I have 2 more on the way! π
May 21, 2009 at 1:41 am #565341Oh, age is a very, very sensitive subject for me. Let’s just say that I got my first Windstone a couple of months ago. Hey, it’s never too late squeek* π

July 7, 2009 at 2:24 am #565343I was 7 when I got my first windstone. It was the male peacock dragon. I had looked at it for months and my parents bought it for me on my birthday. then after that I saved allowance to buy more. I stopped buying them 3 years ago cause of college. I cant buy them and work my way through college. I am saving for another right now though.
July 7, 2009 at 3:06 am #565344The Male Peacock dragon was my first dragon, too! Along with the Emerald Male dragon.
August 2, 2009 at 10:41 pm #565345I’m middle aged now but I started collecting when I was in high school – and they are still my favorite pieces in my dragon collection
August 24, 2009 at 2:45 pm #565346I think my first Windstone was around 15 or so. I remember clearly getting my young green dragon when I was 18 at Medieval Times! I freakin’ LOVED that present, my mom gave me the money to buy it! π
Then when I started working I was in Woodbridge Mall one day (in NJ) and I believe it was some kind of Hallmark or gift store I walked by. I saw something green and shiny “smiling” back at me with a leg lifted as if scratching an itch.
That was Jasper, a jade scratcher, and I am still as excited about him now as I was then, some 14 years ago!!Windstones are awesome and I’ll never get bored of them, because I love dragons and fantasy creatures. They have been with me that way since age 5, when I old enough to start reading and understanding about them.
Most little girls were all giggly over pegasus or unicorns, but I chose the dragon as my favorite fantasy beast! 8) πDon’t get me wrong, I love pegasi and unicorns too. And griffins.
But dragons just make me smile in ways I can’t fully comprehend.Welp, that’s my story! Are you bored yet? π π
September 10, 2009 at 9:21 pm #565347I got my first Windstone when I was 11. It was the Brown Male Griffin! We would get the Pyramid Collection catalog in the mail, and that’s where I first saw him. Not too long after that mom and I went into Wicks and Sticks for the first time. That’s where my innocent eyes were truly opened LOL! Flions, Flap Cats, and DRAGONS oh my! π
I miss hims. *sniff sniff* Someday we will reunite! π
