hmm let’s see..
How long have you been collecting? Well, i got my first (a rainbow male)i think when i was around 15 or so? which would be about 5 years or so. idk i was at the beach, but we go to the same beach house my grandma rents every year so all the years start blending together 😆
How many do you have? I have 8 dragons and a PYO griffin at my home in PA, and i have a male dragon and a blank PYO griffin (which i will begin painting soon as the rest of my supplies arrive) out here with me in Iraq. I have 1 on the way home, 2 others on the way over here cuz my family is running out of places to put them :lol:, and one that a friend is going to give me when i come back stateside 😀
Whats your favorite piece in your collection? OO.. this is a tough choice for me.. even with as few as i have XD…i do rly like my Emerald Peacock Emperor n Peacock Coiled, but the pics ive seen of my Blk & Gold Proto OW, Cinn Gold SK, Copper Patina Oriental, and Rainbow Riser are very pretty too 😀 aahhh i cant choose XD
What are your special wishes? i would Rllly love to get a Black Emerald Peacock and/or Violet Flame SK, or even if i could just get my hands on a emerald peacock or even regular peacock SK. I just Love the Blk Emerald Peacock OW too. And ive been keeping my eyes peeled for a Copper Lilac Lap, or even that Labradorite Lap dragon, and those Coiled Mother Amethyst dragons that just sold out not too long ago 🙄 …. i can dream 😆
Does anyone notice how many people have the BEP color in their wants in alot of sculpts? I’d love to have a family of them! 😳

Yes! I so hope she revives BEP and/or BVP someday. I REALLY want a scratcher in one of those colors! 🙂 squeek*

I missed out on the BEP Laps and OWs. I’m still hoping I’ll have another chance to get one or both.

I noticed that. I have a Black Emerald Peacock Old Warrior and he is fantastic. Cost me a pretty penny. He is my most expensive piece. I still haven’t told my husband how much I spent on him. 😮
I really would like a Secret Keeper in BEP and of course a Fledgie and a Curl.
I don’t know how to access the past threads so I don’t know how long ago that posting of the collection was, but it has been at least 2 or maybe 3 years ago, so the collection is much different now than it was then. The photography was also pretty awful. I will do a better job on my next attempt!!

What is your favorite piece in your collection?
Hmm… I love my red fire dragons, especially my lap, scratcher and fledgie. My white hatching emperor, brown scratcher and black gold lap are also favourites… I love them all! This is a bit difficult…
Anything really special you want but do not have yet?
An OW. I love the OW sculpt, but unfortunately I don`t have one yet. From the production pieces my first choises would be RF, emerald or gold. I would love to add a special LP prototype OW to my collection. Colours inspired by the forest would be amazing! I really want a oriental sun dragon in emerald to match my emerald oriental. I want the royal hatchers, the lap and fledgie in brown real bad… I would adore a PYO keeper painted in beautiful autumn colours by an excellent painter and I would love to have a SK in my collection as well, but unfortunately I will never be able to afford one… 😥 Well, there`s a lot of sculpts I want… 😀

Emerald Proto OW, Brown OW, Ruby lap, Sunset Lap, white male (my first windstone!), baby uni, baby kirin, and old toad.I’m also partial to the following pieces: Birman Flapcat (he was accidently numbered, because he got the wrong pad from an ebay lp – whoops!), Red Fire OW, EmPea male, jade oriental, Male Unicorn, Roaring Sentinel.

It’s hard to pick just one. My mother Labradorite griffin, Bayoudragon’s Maltese Tiger PYO griffin, and Watergazer’s Bluejay/Maltese Tiger PYO griffin are my most prized.Anything really special you want but do not have yet?

I have a spreadsheet too. I also have a column on that list of where I got each PYO from and it’s name (since not all of them have the pyo name on the pad if the painter gave it a name).
Since joining the Forum I have gone from 4 to 141
I got my first (the brown family in 1985 & 1986) but didn’t really start collecting until 1999
My favorite pieces are the test paint from Jennifer and the Sept. 2009 Win from Melody.
The pieces I don’t have but would really like to have are the brown emperor

I do the same thing. I even got a seperate insurance policy, the spreadsheet is for the insurance. We have hurricanes, and the flood and homeowners will not cover my Windstones due to replacement value….

One spreadsheet page is for production pieces and their costs… the other is for PYOs (bought, sold, to, from, cost, etc.).
