Nice job! I like the blues and copper on Patina. He came out really good Hannah. I was wondering, have you ever painted a griffin or a wolf? I think your egyptian stlye on those two sculpts would be interesting to see. I can see you making an Anubis or if the flap cats become pyo’s a sphinx, 😉 just some random thoughts. I’m anxious to see your unicorn when its finished. 🙂
May 19, 2011 at 2:11 pm #845783It would be so hard for me to part with the “Cloud” keeper. What a beauty.I hope Amos turns out half as well.I will send you pics. 🙂

Hehe.. I actually have painted one griffin before – he was the second Windstone that I ever painted! I have an old PYO griffin on my shelf waiting for me (he’s a soft feathered one), and also a PYO wolf that I started painting and immediately hated. He’s sitting on the shelf next to the griffin XD I will definitely get to them eventually, but yes good call! I am definitely going to try painting the wolf at least, in an Egyptian theme 🙂

I want one too – maybe Hannah will discover that she LOVES painting wolves!
May 20, 2011 at 2:15 am #845844I find this interesting.
Hannah, you crank out those beautiful keepers one after another. It took me forever to get mine finished (I love her dearly though).
On the other hand, I LOVE painting the wolves. They’re not my favorite sculpt, but they’re the ones I enjoy painting the most (if that makes sense). Definitely give those guys another shot. Sometimes all it takes is a “practice” run. I bet he’s going to be awesome when you’re done! 🙂
May 20, 2011 at 3:22 am #845850Hehe.. you guys are awesome XD
Good point, bayou! I always thought it was interesting why people like certain sculpts more than others. I remember being so excited to paint my first Keeper – and so intimidated! But once I painted one I kind of took to them like a duck to water and they immediately became my favorites 🙂
Alright you’ve convinced me, I will! I’ll paint a wolf next (which means in between doing a couple I already have lined up! XD)

May 20, 2011 at 5:08 pm #845858Gun looks amazing! And you said you weren’t any good with stripes.. :p
I love the almost “metal” look you went with on the bronze, copper, and silver.
Great job!May 20, 2011 at 9:34 pm #845867Thanks Sagi 😀 It was nice to see you in Rift the other day by the way!! I got distracted from all the cool newness of my graphics lol! Still trying to figure out what causes the computer to crash though ><
Well today was actually sunny in the afternoon! Hooray!! That means I have some new pics of the last 2 dragons that I did, Gun and Patina. I think these show off their colors the best, and you can actually kind of see the black gem in Patina's forehead! It was meant to blend in, and I guess it does a darn good job XD
Both of these guys are now packed up and ready to go to new homes 🙂

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!May 20, 2011 at 9:43 pm #845869This is my most recent PYO, her name is Sable 🙂 She’s my part of a trade with Scenceable because I just couldn’t live without having one of her awesome Kirins! XD
She’s done in a few different shades of grey and slightly off white (I hate using white straight out of the tube), and was painted to resemble this horse, with some artistic liberties :
She has blue eyes (these particular eyes are from Tohickon although I can’t tell the difference between light blue from them and light blue from Windstone), and I have given her 6 Swarovski crystals that are fairly well hidden since they are only in the white areas of the mane and tail! Her mane, tail, and hooves have been glossed where otherwise she has a matte finish. Some of her paints have been infused with gold interference to give her a little sparkly sheen 🙂
