I too have thought about trying out airbrushing, but I’ve never had any experience with it and don’t want to take the risk of putting a lot of cash in buying all the supplies and finding out I stink at using it lol.

I Just got an airbrush and a small compressor for it. Now I’ll need to learn to use it. It’s going to be a summer project though as the small compressor to run it is so loud. It gives me a headache to even have running for 2 minutes. So outside with 150 feet of hose might let me be able to actually use it! I hope.

meowmix – that thought has definitely come to me too when I think about investing in an airbrush! I would be so annoyed if I got it and it just didn't work with me (or vice versa XD)
Stormdancer – I never even thought about the issue with the noise! Yikes.. I'll definitely have to wait a bit even if I had the money to get one at this point. My working space is very small and in my living area so having a compressor making noise when other people are trying to enjoy the television or something would not fly XD That's definitely good to know – it may just have to be something I try when I have my own art room *dream*!
