I love the color transitioning and how you used the blue balanced with the warm coppers and bronzy golds. What inspired her? There are some pretty cool lizerds that actualy have similer coloring but I can not remember thier names. He definitely has the reptile look. I’l loving the contrast of the stripes too, nice.

He was actually my second attempt at using metallic colors, so it was mostly a test to see if those particular colors would work together! He started out as being light blue, dark blue, and the teal that he still has, but there was definitely not enough contrast for my liking so I went to the opposite side of the rainbow to get the rest of his scheme. I also wanted to practice my striping a bit more since I’ve started on a Velociraptor Keeper that requires much striping!Thanks very much for the compliments

Here’s the latest PYO, a Velociraptor inspired Keeper aptly named “Velociraptor” XD He is painted in several shades of brown including a more golden brown, a deeper brown, and a grayish brown which I added to give him a more mottled look. He has pearlescent champagne colored wings, belly, and accents and features a champagne colored swarovski crystal in his tail. He has green interference stripes with black borders that flash quite beautifully any light. He is antiqued in dark brown and black.
These eyes are temporary, as I have not yet received the eyes I ordered from Dreaming Tree Studios 3 weeks ago. I was getting too antsy and decided to go with the next best colored eyes in order to take “final” pictures of him. This Keeper is going to Griffinlover, and she will decide which eyes she wants to be permanent once the eyes I ordered come in
By and large the images of him in the shade came out better, but I included a couple of him in direct sunlight to capture the green interference and a comparative light source.
