Oh oh oh! This one is here to stay!!! I waited so impatiently for the mailman, so of course it had to be a day where he is running late and didn’t get here till almost 5:30! He has a lovely peachy color on his back and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the blue!
And his fuzzy matches quite nicely!!!

I got my GB Tanuki in the mail today and also got another one from my son for my Birthday (that was one the 28th) just a little late. I just love it. Her are some picture of the one I got and I think I will try to trade for one with more brighter color.

LindaS, your gold colored fancy one with the leaf is my favorite so far. I usually got for brighter colors, but these naturalish colors with plants on them are just striking, they look like they could be little nature spirits. I would totally leave offerings at the tanuki god forest shrine! So cute and darling.

And, as I thought, mine was shipped quickly and arrived in Rochester NY this afternoon from Portland OR. So, it most likely will arrive in Washington DC sometime on Monday and probably get to me on Tuesday – which is fine since I’m off on Monday anyway.
