I gave into temptation and bought one of El’s pieces too. It hasn’t arrived yet, but I’m really looking forward to seeing it.
I’ve also commissioned her for a desk decoration – I’ll post it up when I get it.It’s beautiful GB!

She packed well, right? Mom was saying how fragile that polymer clay is too, and the pieces I’m getting from her are pretty big…Here it is, not sure if she’s updated her website just yet. Yes, he was packed very well. You will need to be very careful when handling yours, I broke 3 feathers just trying to lift it out of the box, I fixed them, but dang it was easy to break him.

January 19, 2009 at 10:00 pm #655613Wow, he is really gorgeous! 🙂
I broke the tailtip of my little phoenix unpacking him too. 🙄
January 19, 2009 at 10:17 pm #655614Wow, that’s a beautiful piece!
January 19, 2009 at 10:58 pm #655615Wow, he’s amazing Kyrin. Congrats.
January 20, 2009 at 5:54 am #655616He’s gorgeous! Thanks very much for the warnings, ladies. I’ll be super careful when I get mine.
January 20, 2009 at 4:15 pm #655617Wow, that dragon is so beautiful! And yes, her work is so very fragile. The tail on my winged canine was starting to come off when I opened him. I so wish her stuff was made outta something a little more durable. But then she probably wouldn’t be able to achieve such intricate detail with a different product. Her work is just amazing though. I love the colors and textures.
January 20, 2009 at 4:21 pm #655618I love her work, she has gorgeous creations…but I’m too scared to spend on something so breakable. O_o I’d die if I broke it just removing the piece from the box…and with three kids….ouch. These critters make windstones look downright durable.
January 20, 2009 at 5:08 pm #655619That piece is gorgeous and amazing; the back of the wings are just insane and its face is beautiful! =D
January 20, 2009 at 9:16 pm #655620I too love her work but I cannot bring myself to spend so much on something so delicate. I like to invest my money in artworks that are a little more… lasting. 🙂
If I ever see her at a convention where I can pick the work up in person I would probably get something. I was so excited when I saw that she was going to attend AC last year, but then she wasn’t there. 🙁Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com

Oh Kyrin you are just killing me I love that dragon!
His pose reminds me of another she made in the past that I wanted.
And that face…drool!
I wonder if she takes commissions…January 21, 2009 at 2:55 am #655622Blackdesertwind wrote:Kyrin wrote:Here it is, not sure if she’s updated her website just yet. Yes, he was packed very well. I wonder if she takes commissions…Silly Nat, this one was a commission, so yes, she takes commissions. This one is about 12 inches long and 5 inches wide and ran me $125. She’s in Canada, so for you you’d get a break on shipping at least.

January 21, 2009 at 5:34 am #655623That’s right, she doesn’t charge for shipping to Canada.
January 25, 2009 at 1:12 am #655624Oh wow…. I LOVE that dragon. So beautiful.
February 5, 2009 at 8:59 am #655625I just got my first piece from El, the Nacreous Serpent.
Can I say love? And it arrived perfectly packed and in pristine condition to boot. The material is surprisingly robust. I hung it on the wall by my bed so I can better admire it. 😀 -
