April 10, 2010 at 1:18 am #808268I finished the young dragon in the copper cowry color yesterday – boy this little guy was demanding!! The little pieces are always harder than the big ones, but I mean jeez… I think a big part of it was that serpentine coiled tail. There’s a lot of anatomy and detail packed onto that little body. The shine on the gloss makes it a little tough to see in the photos, but he does have striping all the way down his tail, and there’s quite a bit of copper shimmer down his back and color on his wing feathers that also don’t show up well via photograph.

April 10, 2010 at 5:43 am #808276I never liked brown in general until now 😮 I’m loving this color so much. It looks really natural in my eyes. Keep up the good work! It would be cool to see a whole set of dragons in this color but boy what a process that would be for you 😀

Wow!
Very nice!
April 10, 2010 at 6:34 pm #808279I love this scheme, but I’m wondering if a PYO dragon wouldn’t show it off better, especially on the throat area. The young dragon is more “compact” there.
