Those are so gorgeous. I definitely would be much more of a hatchling collector if they looked like that 😉 . It’s so refreshing to see the eggshell done in another color instead of bright, flat white.

uh….. really only because I only had a few hatchers to play with and I wanted to try different colors on the eggs…! I guess these guys came from the same rookery but different nests. Maybe their moms are friends 😉

March 24, 2010 at 7:42 pm #808255The look gorgeous! (And put me in mind of caramel chocolates…)
March 25, 2010 at 1:18 am #808256My immediate reaction: Gimme gimme gimmie GIMMIE!
I rather like the idea of various shades of eggs in a clutch. The speckles tie them together neatly.
March 25, 2010 at 6:03 am #808257They are pretty! It’s nice seeing the royal hatchers getting some love 😀
March 25, 2010 at 2:02 pm #808258OMG they’re so beautiful! My checkbook just went and hid, so I guess someone else will have to win those cuties!
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
March 26, 2010 at 3:02 am #808259AnonymousWow, BEAUTIFUL and FANTASTICAL! The speckled eggs remind me of Dennis Thompson’s – I LOVE what you have done! So so so very pretty!!! WOW!
March 26, 2010 at 6:34 am #808260I want a chance to buy them, so I hope they will go up for auction, even with their flaws. 🙂
March 26, 2010 at 5:33 pm #808261This one reminds me of a CottonMouth…it is lovely though 🙂
Every act matters. No matter how small💞

So long as the copper cowry ones reach the factory alright, they should go up for sale. There’s nothing wrong with them. It’s the blue one, Elanore, that definitely won’t be sold!
I’m working on a young dragon in the cowry color right now… he’s going slowly though. I keep getting interrupted! I should be able to send the two royal hatches, the young and the small hatching dragon out to the factory together. Then I’ll be working on the mother and father dragon.
Alas, no hatching kinglet or emperor to match the set.I’ve got one old warrior… Do you guys want to see him in this Cowry color, or should I save him for something else??

If I even had a decent job I would be whining and whimpering for you to do the OW in the blue color as elanore.
I’m afraid I will have to admire your pieces from the distance of a computer screen though.(I am sure with many others)Thinking a bit more, I do not think a hand painted OW has appeared in blue yet.
But people seem to like that Cowry color.
I think I would be just as interested in seeing ether or.How has painting these small dragons been for you? I actualy really like painting the smooth scales of dragons while fur tends to give me a harder time.
March 27, 2010 at 5:45 am #808265The brown, mos def. I dont really dig the blue as much. But that is just my vote. 😀
March 27, 2010 at 5:48 am #808266I cringe at the thought of painting the OW blue… I think it would look absolutely grand, but it would take SO LONG. that blue is really hard to work with. I think it’s an opacity thing. It requires a lot more coats than other colors. Silver is the same way. Myself, I think I’d like to do the OW in that blue color, but the blue got mixed reviews so maybe another day.
