😆 It’s okay; you know you love her… Some days four footed kids can be just as expensive as the two footed sort 😆 😆

October 7, 2008 at 2:18 pm #734324Actually, I think she’s starting to feel even better. She attempted to play with the kitten this morning (that’s a first!). And she’s sneezing less. She still has a stuffy nose, but it seems to be getting better. I’m just going to keep an eye on her and make sure she progresses forward. The medicine is getting easier to give her, so as long as that’s going okay, I don’t want to switch her.
October 7, 2008 at 2:21 pm #734325I’m glad to hear that! 🙂
October 7, 2008 at 2:48 pm #734326YEAH!!
Good news and Kitty huggiesOctober 7, 2008 at 4:23 pm #734327Yup, that’s more good news, yay! I wish I could have bought something to help you with the vet bills, Em, but I have Brandy’s to pay for right now. So many pretties that I can’t buy, but she’s worth it.

I understand. Give Brandy a snuggle for me. Such a pretty kitty!
October 7, 2008 at 4:59 pm #734329Will do and you do the same with Claire Marie. 😀
October 7, 2008 at 5:44 pm #734330I am glad to hear Claire is doing so well I remember how worried and upset I was when Tristen had the inverted stomach a little over a year ago. That cost $6K but to me he was worth every penny of it I got back what I asked for – a live dog.
October 7, 2008 at 7:44 pm #734331Good news! Yay!
Give the poor girl lots of kitty cuddles!
October 7, 2008 at 9:12 pm #734332Well, I got the worst news I could possibly get today. Claire Marie has cancer. A very quick-spreading cancer. The vet said she had about 3 to 10 months without any sort of treatment. It’s lymphnomic, so there is no tumor to remove at this point (it was already removed). I could spend $2,500 on chemo (that I don’t have) but it would only extent her life about six months. I could try prednizone (spelling?), but it would be about the same if it worked at all. And that would also mean another medicine to give her for the rest of her life (probably).
I can’t stand this. I just lost Katie, and now I’m going to lose Claire too?! Who’s cruel sense of humor is this?! I’m so angry and sad and DEVASTATED that I don’t know what to do first.
And to top it all off, my betta (Ghost) died. Poor fish. Like I need another death on my hands!
October 7, 2008 at 9:21 pm #734333😥 My heart goes out to you, Em. I don’t know what else to say….words are never enough. *hugs*
October 7, 2008 at 9:21 pm #734334That’s horrible! It’s soo not fair that you have to go through that one right on top of the other. 😥 🙁 😥 At least Claire knows how much you love her. My last cat died 3 days after Christmas while I was away visiting relatives. My parents had to call and tell me. 😥 It was a horrible holiday.
October 7, 2008 at 9:50 pm #734335I’m sorry Em. 🙁
October 8, 2008 at 1:27 am #734336Oh Em. I’m so sorry. 😥 *Huge Hugs* for you and Claire Marie.
October 8, 2008 at 2:08 am #734337*big squeeze* I’m sorry Emerald. There’s no doubt about it that one is hard, but another so soon after is just a low blow to the groin.
