It is not above the first post. There’s simply no button anywhere for it.

I just tested this with two normal user accounts both in Firefox and in Internet Explorer. I also had my husband test it on his normal user account. It is there! If you cannot see it, I really need to know what browser and version you are using….

My art: featherdust.comMarch 26, 2011 at 3:08 am #840740Alright, I found it. We need a tutorial for this forum >< so much has changed.
And just so that you know I wasn't ignoring your question, I did mention that I'm using Chrome.

March 28, 2011 at 3:14 am #840886Are the ads appearing as popups or are the embedded on the windstone site itself?
March 28, 2011 at 3:29 am #840891So I was editing one of my replies and someone else replied to the comment I was editing. I got an access denied error when I tried to post my edited reply.
March 28, 2011 at 3:50 am #840897Well, you know how when you preview the post, there’s the post you’re responding to below it? Well, instead of that post there was an ad for Viagra.
March 28, 2011 at 7:21 am #840902Wow.
Is it possibly spyware? Does your anti-virus also have anti-spyware capabilities?

Can you please tell me what internet browser and version you are using? (you can usually find the version by going to Help > About in your browser)
My husband and I just tried to replicate this in three different browsers with no ad-blocking software, and looked into the source code and cannot see a way for it to pull ads. I am leaning toward this being something on your personal computer. 🙁 Do you have any spyware-detection software and/or an updated antivirus you could run?
If anyone else encounters this problem, please let me know right away and if possible take a screen shot and let me know what internet browser you are using…!

I am not sure if this is so much a bug as just… annoying. You can get around it by copying your reply, and re-loading the page, then posting it.

My art: featherdust.comMarch 28, 2011 at 10:46 pm #840987Well, I’ve got a screen shot of it, but my computer will only let me put it Word and won’t let me save it as a picture for some reason. Would you like me to email it to you?
The browser I’m using is Firefox 4.0. I use AdBlock Plus, so I should probably be more specific about what I meant by ad. What it looks like is that I’m replying to some nonsense user that has a link to a Viagra purchase site in their post. I hope this makes sense. If not, I do have a screen shot.
March 29, 2011 at 12:32 am #841002Okay, let’s see if this works…

How very, very strange!
This is my best guess:The post you saw was from the old blog (the old blog, sadly, was riddled with spam).
Somehow there was an epic glitch and you saw a reply to the old blog (made last November it looks like) when you were going to post a reply somewhere. I have since looked up that user and deleted them since they are obviously a spammer. When were you getting this glitch? Only when you posted to one forum or all the time? If it was only sometimes, can you let me know which thread you were posting to when it showed up?
How strange. I am very sorry you encountered this!

My art: featherdust.comMarch 29, 2011 at 2:08 am #841023I get this message when I edit or reply to my sales thread:
http://www.windstoneeditions.com/forum/few-things-sale-more-added-1212
It could be that something got mixed up in the transition since I’ve been using this same thread for several months now. Would you recommend that I just make a new thread and let this one sink? I don’t know if this will happen to someone else who posts on the thread or not.
March 29, 2011 at 3:52 am #841036I just experimented with posting a reply to your thread and got nothing.
