Regarding the changes to the Classified Ads – is the new “choose your own expiration date” thing a permanent change? It’s nice not having to worry about your ad expiring, but it also makes it difficult, if not impossible to be able to tell easily what ads are new. Previously, the newest ads would show up at the bottom.
I realize some people tended to continually “bump” their ads by renewing the date several times before the expiration, but most did not. At least with the set expiration system there was a semblance of “new” and “old” ads. At this point you just have to see what the oldest ad is, and go even further to get yours to appear at the end of the list :/

I’m not sure how long the ads are supposed to run – I’m sure it says in the instructions for them – that is something I haven’t been involved in. Sorry for the confusion, but it will get fixed eventually.

There has been some chatter on the thread classifieds expiration notification ..we are not receiving notices that ads have reached their half life, or about to expire. Fyi
Also, are we supposed to be able to see old Ads which have expired? When you sort by member, their current ads and expired ones pop up. I wasn’t sure if that was a glitch or not.

I got it. If stuff like this pops up overnight or in the early morning, I can usually get to it before the Windstone folks do, since I am on Eastern Time and they are Pacific.
