The Poll: What PYO creatures do you want? will not let me vote. I make my selections, hit vote and it tells me I have to make my selection to vote. I have tried it several times in different ways and no matter what i do it will not accept it. Just thought I’d let ya know.
I did want to change my vote so clicked the option and that’s where the problem started.

The counter for the “For Sale” ads doesn’t seem to be keeping up. This morning there were 65 ads and it said 76, and right now there are 71 ads and it still says 76. No big deal, just odd.
It’s now indicating 77 when in reality there are only 52 items, and it’s showing a completely empty first page.
Bleh. I dont know what is wrong with it. Will ask clay to look into it on monday.

I noticed that as well (and it’s in the “Trading” and “Wanted”, too. BUT, there seems to be another issue as well. There are still some items in each of the sections that are still “live” ads. When I click on them in the listing, the ad shows up but may or may not be in the list (I hope this makes sense). Certainly odd. Another weird thing that happens in the classifieds sometimes it I get a line (or several) that has the word “Array” in each of the columns. I have noticed that this typically occurs on the day that a lot of ads expire.

There is at least one name (probably more) in the ‘Ads by Author’ list whose ads have expired but not been deleted. This could be the reason the ad counter is wrong – it is still counting those ads, but not displaying them since they are expired. I just checked and my name is not on the list. When I checked my ad page, they all expired on 11/13. I believe the time from expiration to deletion is the same as the ad stays up (10 days for Sale items?), in which case they should have been deleted on 11/23. (Please don’t manually delete them, I will renew them shortly, but just wanted to leave them so you could see the issue.)

Dragonshoard, you are brilliant! I just checked on a couple of ads and that’s exactly what the problem is. The ads have expired, but somehow the ghost of them is there. No wonder the counter is off!

Now the page 1 of the For Sale Ads is totally blank no ads. You have to skip to pg 2 to see any of the listings. Just thought I’d let ya know.

As of 10:37 AM MST (9:37AM PST) both the forum category page and the top say there are 2 replies, but when you scroll down, there are 3 replies.
When I first went to the forum category page, it said 2 replies, but 3 updates, which is what brought it to my attention.
Nothing serious, but just an FYI and a HUH?

One of the replies is from the author – I wonder if the replies from the original poster don’t add to the reply count.
Classified ads and iPad don’t seem to get along! I have to redo my ad several times and I still don’t have the pictures I want posted. It’s like the site has a mind of its own, lol! Gets a bit frustrating but kinda figure it’s another iPad glitch. Yet I had to report it, I just had to!
I’m so frustrated. There are only supposed to be pictures of ducky in this ad, but nooooo….random pix show up. Is this just an iPad glitch? Doesn’t seem to happen to anyone else. Anyway…..just irked! Thanks! Sorry I’m complaining, I could just digmout the old laptop and take pix with the camera and download them and do it that way. I think I’m going to end up having to do that.
