      Still can’t put an order thru . No submit button . No remembered address . Says I have 15 mintutes to order whats in my cart . Usually it’s an hour . I hope it gets fixed . Susie at least got my item ordered yesturday . I emailed her about the problem .

          We shortened the length of time things stay in carts, that’s not an error. The rest of the problems the web-guys are looking at. Sorry for the inconvenience! If anyone has trouble ordering, please contact us at service@windstoneeditions.com

            I “pretended” to order something and all my saved addresses were there as well as the submit button.

            I did notice it was asking for a phone number now (I’m not sure it did this before?) so I had to fill that in before I could successfully complete the order.

            I believe your saved addresses are stored on the store’s server, not in your cookies, so you should be okay to clear your cache and cookies. Depending on your browser, you may need to shut the browser down and restart it to successfully reset your view of the site. Clay and Lane have made quite a few changes lately and some things may misbehave until you complete these steps.

            I had one of the special pegasuses in my cart for less than ten minutes when it glitched out.

            Started on my iPad….peg was in my cart. Signed into laptop, view cart…one item in cart…ready to pay…..signed me out! Signed back in..nothing in my cart!!!! Aaarrrggghhhhhh!!!

            UPDATE!
            Whoever had that special pegasus after me, didn’t keep it I had kept refreshing and refreshing over and over and over and it came back and I got it and YAY MEEEE! SO..even though it glitched away from me, I stll was able to get her!

              How frustrating. I’d hate for a glitch like this to ruin someone’s buying experience. Did you let Susie know? Neither she nor I can directly fix it, but it would be easier for her to relay the problem to the proper people in person (rather than email as I’d have to do).

                Thank you Jennifer and Susie…yes very frustrating! But I did got her after waiting a couple of hours and keep refreshing since it still said out of stock which means it wasn’t laid for yet.

                I did send a note to customer service in the contact. Utton above and got a reply. What I’d didnt do is contact windstone right away…I just kept refreshing for about an hour hoping she would come back…then wrote my notes…then back to refreshing and finally after ages….she was back and soon she will be here!

                Would be nice to find out what happened though. Hopefully it was a one time weird growing pains glitch!

                Another one glitched out of my cart before the 15 minutes were up. Maybe this program doesn’t like iPads? Or maybe cuz I have a zillion windows open? Or maybe it’s just me!

                NEW GLITCH!! Put item back in shopping cart….did everything I did before to see if I can get it glitched out…..fifteen minutes are up…still in my cart yet it shows up as available on the specials page!

                At least with it glitching out of my cart the first time, sanity came back and I reluctantly decided to wait til I pay down my credit card a bit before I get another special piece….but….sigh…I do so like this one!

                  I was curious, so tried this. Same result for me. Seems like you must check remove, refresh your cart, then add the item back.

                    Strange glitch – I have ordered pieces for some other members and I can’t get rid of their addresses now. I keep using the delete functions and the system confirms the address is deleted but next time I look, they are still there! I do have a couple of addresses I want to save, but I’d like some to stay deleted.

                    Have you tried clearing your cache/cookies? Sometimes you’ll need to do that for the changes to fully take effect.

                    I don’t think the site is tested or fully compatible with iPads/iPhone (or Safari in general), though I could be wrong. If you aren’t already, you might try using Firefox and see if that helps.

                      speaking of “issues” with the store, it keeps asking for my phone number. I figured the first time it was missing/lost/now needed due to the software changes, but it doesn’t seem to “stick” because I had to enter it again the next time I ordered from the store. Not a major issue, and now I know to check the field and fill it in, but the first time is was a little nerve wracking trying to get an order in during the frenzy, especially when I am on dialup.
