I think the pose on the baby is cuter and the markings are nicer. That might be a moot observation, but if I were to choose between them the baby would definitely win!
Check out my finished artwork at http://falcolf.deviantart.com/ and my sketch/studio blog at http://rosannapbrost.tumblr.com/
Excellent!
June 4, 2014 at 7:23 am #913574The baby is gorgeous. I see that a couple have come back in stock but I am torn about getting one because I missed the fledglings and would love to get both together! I also need to save money for my upcoming dance group trip to Las Vegas so not sure what to do. I may have to wait for more to come out.
Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!
June 4, 2014 at 1:23 pm #913578As of this morning there are still a couple of babies in the store. I agree, they are very cute in this color. 🙂
June 4, 2014 at 8:19 pm #913592I’m still tapped out from the Griffins and the Sitting Spectral. I also managed to snag a Fledgling, but I’m down to my last 50 bucks and I don’t get paid for another week and a half so I had to sit these guys out.
Hoping everything will get restock at least once at some point so everyone can get a second chance to grab the ones they’ve missed. They’re coming out so fast I just can’t keep up, LOL! I have to pick and choose which ones to get now and which ones to chance skipping. So far I skipped the Riser and the Emperor and now this little guy. Hoping I can catch either the Laps or the OWs.

June 5, 2014 at 1:35 am #913613Yeah, I haven’t been able to keep up, so I hope they stay around for a while. So far I still only have the Griffins sans Papa.
June 5, 2014 at 2:02 am #913617I admit that my personal taste does not care for the flat black color on Windstones. The griffins … the blue is so pretty but the black kills it for me and I can’t quite put my finger on it. But, I do think I like it on the rising dragon! He’s super pretty. I think it’s because he has so little of that flat black (I just find it lifeless, I guess!).
Either way, it is wonderful to see these blue paint jobs coming out!I’m the opposite! My preference leans to a bit more black. Regardless, I love the colour and am (im)patiently awaiting the arrival of Blue Morpho curlies.
Life is beautiful.

I’m wondering how well the Blue Morpho scheme will work on the curlies. The wings should be pretty, anyway!

June 6, 2014 at 3:22 pm #913718Melody or Susie or someone: Is there an estimated time frame on the coiled mommas males in blue morpho?

Always open for pyo commissions, repairs and fine artwork! Email me for current prices! awier(@)weaselsoneasels.comJune 6, 2014 at 3:24 pm #913719Lap dragons haven’t been available in the store since I’ve been on the forum (almost three years now? Maybe I am remembering wrong), so I don’t think we can even really guess at the price for blue morpho when they release. Other sculpts base prices have raised, so I think you’d be safer guessing $260-$300 (more inline with the OW – these are only a tad smaller).
The coiled mothers should be fairly reasonable though. 🙂 I’d guess between $98 – $120.
June 6, 2014 at 7:29 pm #913733I’m trying to a Lap and an Old Warrior, but I’m figuring they will be a while yet until a good amount of horns are available.

I couldn’t swing the GB curlies, so the Blue Morpho is wonderful.

June 7, 2014 at 2:52 am #913770Don’t panic. I plan on painting blue morpho everythings until our hands fall off and we run out of paint. They are Limited production.
I wonder if that means Poads too?????????????? Adult or youngs maybe?
Wanted: "Dragon Fruit" Male Dragon ~ "Fire Berry", "Paradise", "Dragon Fruit", "Tie Dye" ~ The brighter, the better!
