It seems like this new griffin color, ” Silver Wolf”, popped up out of nowhere, but I have been fighting with the color of the “Wolf” griffins for years. They never looked quite the way I had imagined. I finally decided to be brave and totally change the color of the “Wolfs” from the brownish color to a cooler, more silvery grey, with darker trim.
Since I changed the body color, we also changed the eye color to make it a distinct new color phase of wolf griffin. These eyes are very pretty soft metallic lavender, and we found a lavender jewel color that matches nicely!

We have now officially retired the old wolf color, but we will have female “wolf” colored griffs in the store until they have sold out.
I love the new silver wolf chicks. Can’t wait to see how the parents look!
They look beautiful Melody! They remind me of the “Silver Wolf” male test paint you did back in 2007/2008. I’m pretty sure he didn’t have purple eyes though.
