I prefer not to do grab bag scaled creatures! It is just too difficult to paint interesting patterns on tiny scaled bodies… too limiting!
I had intended to use the Mini keeper as a grab bag dragon only, but she/he proved to be such a pain that I decided to just do ’em in regular colors like the other dragon families.
The best grab bag pieces are the guys with nice smoooooth backs… without wings.More young unicorns!….but after October. I need to save up till then

My little baby came in today! She’s my two favorite colors-purple and orange. Just the same, I may consider trade offers. There were others I liked more. I’m calling her color “Purple Autumn”
and in case you couldn’t see, she has purple toes 😀
Go for the lap dragon! I have one of the old pink lap dragons and she looks lovely in pink…even though this one is a little different. I think the silver suits her.
Also, I hope there will be a pink OW. I may need the gender confused little guy
Yeah I like that smooth horn myself too on the family. Plus, mom and babies have a smooth horn, papa needs a smooth horn too 🙂
Agreed, Melody! I started with a group of old green dragons (2 males, a mother and baby) I got on ebay for $100 total. I traded one of the males for a white male dragon. Then later found a store going out of business (those used to happen frequent when I started collecting) so I got the old white grand unicorn, stripey male griffin and griffin candle lamp for $120 TOGETHER. So it’s possible! 🙂
*points to Kim’s avatar* Really Kim? You like rainbow zebras? 😉 <3 I like Lisa Frank too! I still see their stuff in stores from time to time. I'm glad they haven't died off completely. It was the rage when I was in elementary school in the 90's. I still have my old Lisa Frank binder with about 10 different folders in it. 🙂

grr, my box shaped Ipod nano decided that it didn’t want to let the power button come back up today while I just got started on my walk…..it turned on just fine, let me pick a song then when I tried to change songs, I couldn’t get the screen to come back since I noticed the power button is stuck on down….
soooo, since I turned off the shake shuffle ages ago since I hold it in my hand so my arm swinging used to make it shuffle, I couldn’t continue my walk since I was stuck on the same song…..
……and biggest whine is that now it won’t shut off! it’s stuck…..
checked out the stores, they want $145 for the nano that looks like a mini Iphone…they have a $46 option Ishuffle but it only has 2GB so it’s not worth bothering with….
Look into a zune! To most, outdated technology but to me…awesome. I got mine on ebay for about $30 (after bidding on about 10 and losing them) and it’s 30GB hard drive based. If you want a little somethin’ somethin’ to take on your walk, I have an old Rio Forge Sport I’m not using. It’s only 30MB (yes, megs) but has an expandable slot so you can make it as big as you want. I’ll send it to you for shipping if you want. I also have another, bigger (8GB with an expandable slot) Sony? I forget the brand. MP3 player if you want. (or if anyone wants it. Don’t think I can sell it and don’t want to give it away to strangers if I can help it. Y’all aren’t strangers!)
I just need to whine a minute. Yesterday I was moving my Windstone around and the shelf fell(we found out the pin holding the shelf came out). I push my body up against the opening and stop a lot of them from falling. My husband came running and he save a lot of them. What got the worst was 2 PYO keepers and all my frogs(I will take pictures and ask drag0n to fix please). I fix the PYO keeper the best I could but I know I will never match the paint, but they don’t look bad. Well I am just heart sick and I know crying don’t help. I got every thing back in but now I am not sure I will every touch again. well that is enough for now. Linda
OMG that is so scary! I hate to hear about damaged Windstones. 🙁 I know drag0n can fix them up good as new!
To the people who say they have pain, there is this spice called Turmeric. They have done recent studies on it and have found out it prevent and cure some cancers, kills almost all the pain, alleviate depression, and other things they are finding it works for. They come in capsules, I found some in Walmart but I’m sure you can find it on the web. It helps with my depression and anxiety. My husband has Snapping Scapula, where his shoulder blade grinds on his ribs, he takes it and he has barely any pain when Cortisone shots didn’t help at all.
Very good to know! I suffer from anxiety but am not medicated because the med the DR prescribed was $700 X_X *dies* So I deal with it. I also have mild scoliosis (lateral curvature of the spine) not too bad but enough to give me daily pain. I’ll look into the Tumeric!
Also, has the doctor said anything about surgery or strong anti inflammatory meds? How long has he had this?I need to whine because I’m sick 🙁 I NEVER GET SICK!! I catch the flu ONCE a year in December (despite all precautionary measures) and that’s it. I have a sinus infection that caused me to have a 101.4 fever, and of course with that, sore throat, body aches and chills. Woke up at 3:40AM miserable. Now I’m at work because I don’t have any vacation accrued to take a sick day and can’t afford a day off. -_- laying low today.
Okay, so this isn’t exactly “thread appropriate” but I’m posting it anyway. 😉 We celebrated my bday tonight (had to wait a day due to family schedule craziness) and what does my oldest give me, but a drawing of my lovely little Autumn Leaf fan-rin. Love, love, love, love, love.
