well the first thing is the paint is probably not going to be quite as bright in person as in photoshop. And the second thing is…even if it is. Who cares! Its a fantasy creature…go wild! The bright windstones are always my favorite ones anyway!!!

it’s the increase on the Emperor’s that hurt the most at least for me. they just got raised to $300 a year a go and now they are $350. It’s difficult to rationlize it when that is now more then my 2nd mortgage. the others I can swallow and go with but $700 plus tax for 2 dragons is getting tight.
Too bad we couldn’t all picth in and buy you a wharehouse so you NEVER have to pay rent again!!!

YOu can send them to me Melody…I will watch them CAREFULLY. Partic the test paints…they take up soooo much room. 🙂

And dude…slightly off topic and NONE of my business. But please people don’t lose your house or your car because of these. Yes they are wonderful and amazing, and yes its very easy to get wrappped up in HAVING THEM ALL. But don’t make your life uncomfortable for something you can always buy later in life. I worry about doing that myself sometimes. I never want to be in a situation where my morage is late because I bought a windstone.
They look terrible in cardboard box homes. 😉

I looked at few of the other photos on your account (hope you don’t mind). Just wanted to say I have that same non-Windstone sculpture of a unicorn and a baby unicorn. Was a Christmas present from my BIL one year.

    Oh heck no… I don’t mind. 😀

That Unicorn statue… the one with the mare and foal? 😀 yeah my BF gave me that for Xmas a couple of years ago… it’s nice… but really doesn’t fit in… 😆
Ha! Because of that I had to go look at them all too…I want to see some stuff close up. I want to see the unicorn CM made from the male whitetail deer…on the top shelf. And the unicorn behind the fetishes…and the fetishes! I love that fat unicorn…can you tell me more? And I just want to see the fetishes because I love them. I have a few myself.
Oh and I am soo jealous, you have the whole halloween set!!!

I see it! Good luck I hope it sells for a fortune! Is that the same price as the BIN? I don’t remember. She is awsome looking…and I am really glad you took a comparison pic. *giggles cause I can’t wait to get mine*

I love the face and whatnot…but I am not as fond of the spots with the scales. Maybe instead of making them spots, you could stick with the real fish markings and fade to brown and then add one big white stripe in the middle….just like the fish in the photo. 😀

Thank you the replys i still find most of the comments very mean, This was my first time painting the kiRin or anythng for that matter and yes I do understand that some of the members did critique my work but they could have done it in a nicer manner.
As for the shipping I personally cannot do anthing about the cost, I chrge for packaging and shipping, that is stated in all my auction. If anyone is concerned about the shipping cost they have every right to e mail me asking what the cost will be, after i reply to them they can decide if it is too much for them or not.
Also thank you for welcoming me.

Yeah that is a problem with the PYO windstones. Many people buy them thinking they are easy to paint like a ceramic at a paint it yourself shop, but they are not. They are highly detailed peices of art. The auctions do clearly state that they are not for beginners. A few of the people here bought “cheap practice” things to paint to practice before doing the complicated ones. There are many little resin dragons you can buy for a couple of bucks to practice with.
Its great that you let people back out of your auction if the shipping is too high, but you need to let them know in advance. I would not bid on most auctions that won’t state the shipping.
You are welcome here. Really. And we will be glad to help you become the artist you wish to be. But please understand that most of the comments were not really ment to be mean. Its just the truth. harsh…yes….but true. If you want to sell your work you need to be painting the way and at the skill level that your buyers will want.
Windstone people are picky. We are used to the best paint jobs in the world. 🙂

Yeah I agree with Cat. Its easy to say things when a person is not so real. But we would love to help give you ideas and helpful hints for painting these pyos. But in the mean time I too appoligise for my hasty words.
As far was why it was relisted…when i have those troubles, I usually state the reason so people don’t jump to conclusions like we did. It was odd that your price jumped soo high and we assumed wrongly that you had a shill bidder. Thanks for clearing that up. We are a protective group of each other. We also were wary because of your bad feedback with high shipping and the fact that you won’t list the shipping price. Overcharging is very underhanded and not welcome. I hope you stop that practice in the future. It will get you more sales. 🙂

I just keep thinking of a Windstone Wedding =) My boyfriend thinks it’s silly, (even though it would be REALLY EXPENSIVE) By the time I get married there will be even more colors out, and I want there to be a different color Emperor Dragon as the centerpieces at my tables and the guests can sit at their assigned dragon colored table =D I know, I’m a geek, but it would be SO PRETTY!

yeah until people started getting drunk, and kids started running around with no supervision…..
    crash
