That’s me graceful as ever, LOL. Thanks for popping in, nice to meet you officially, and yes, is this place and collecting addictive or what?!

    My Wishlist:

    Any Windstone–

    I don’t have any…

Well we have to change that! I’m by no means rich or with a ton of Windstone pieces myself, but if you send me your mailing address if you are comfortable to do so I will send you a surprise in new/mint or used undamaged Windstone. I know how it is to want from afar desperately. Sides put good out get good back, right?! I’m not a stalker you can ask pixie-dust or Angelika Zen who I’ve done business with recently what they think if you like I think they’d be OK with it.(?) At the end of the day the greatest Windstone piece or stuff we own is just stuff – the good we put out to each other and Windstone community friendships made are far more valuable I think. Perhaps that is the true magic behind Windstone’s enchanted art pieces.

Thanks. 🙂 The grey isn’t as spectacular as the brightly painted pieces, but I think it shows the details well.

I thought her Ash gray color was very lovely and well suited to her being a garg too.

Aside from the tiger and rainbow test paints this is my all time fave momma griff garg too – I am determined to win bid her – I love Halloweenie fall colors, her feline half looks like me, a black panther, and I’m collecting gargs – “there can be only one!” *whips out claws* haha.

    Good luck with the auction!

Aw, thanks! So far, so good, but it’s still got a few days to go yet. (There goes my tax return I’ll have to take a break to recoup if I do win her.) Ever have a piece that you simply must have because it was like it was made for you?! The only other piece The only other piece besides this current garg up for auction I’ve felt that way about 100% is the tattoo test paint oriental dragons, but they are already in their forever home. The red furred one with the black scales and red eyes is a dead ringer for an oriental dragon painted on the window of a kung fu school I used to attend that I loved but had to leave and haven’t been able to get back to. Just looking at images of it brings back so many bitter sweet memories, not to mention it’s just a friggin’ gorgeous sculpt if ever there was one. Plus, I’m year of the dragon in the Chinese zodiac.

I know there was another dragon gargoyle out – I used to have one back in the day and gave it to a friend before I got into Windstones who collected dragons. Not sure what it’s title was. It was smaller than the dragon that is available now for sale and was sitting. I think it had open wings.
I’m sure I can come across it for sale used on Ebay sometime or scouting around yet to recollect.

Ah, too bad I never got a photo of him, I had this guy a bit over a year ago, I gave him to my brother since he really liked him and I didn’t have the space for all my gargoyles.. my brother got the stone finished wizard as well, I got a great deal, 5 for $100 I think it was, most needed repaired, but I still loved them… I still have the hyena (which is gorgeous in person, I didn’t expect to keep him and fell in love as soon as I saw him!) And I have the big dragon and the uni in stone finish… I have since added the dragon bookends to my stone finished collection, they’re all very lovely 🙂

Keep an eye on ebay, they all tend to show up from time to time 🙂

I found him on Ebay and have put in a bid! I hope I get him!

I have the small panther, pig, critic and dragon bk ends, gargolingus, and hatching garg so far myelf. I just ordered a garg claw candle holder too. I really want a hyena garg next or test paint momma griff.

I was hoping you spotted him! 🙂 He came up in good timing! Lol.
Quite the collection so far! 🙂 I’ve found a sudden fondness to the owl bookends, though I don’t know what I’d do with a second set of bookends (I adore my dragon set) lol… I also really want the small wolf! My mom has the large candlelamp wolf, it’s a truly beautiful piece!
I hope to someday see more test paints on the small gargoyle wolf, the ones I’ve seen from the past are so pretty!

Yeah, what a coincidence, I hope I’ll get him! I want to get the owl bk ends one day yet too, they are really neat. I would like the peeking claw/eye postponed production ends too. I have a lot of books so I like that I get a Windstone collectible plus it’s functional! I really am selective what I collect but must sound like I want the whole store sometimes – just so much good stuff here! Ha.
If I see any small garg wolf test paints I’ll try to remember to give you a heads up about them sometime. It’s always fun to get something OOAK. My best friend adores wolves I should get her some from here someday really I bet she’d flip!

The boars I did recently were the remainder of some old left-over castings from the olden days of Windstone. We found a few boxes of these unpainted animals when we moved from California to Oregon. We are not planning to cast more of these original animals as far as I know.
The exceptions were the two bear cubs and the lion. We did cast more of those pieces.
The cougar will be available ( production or limited production) soon as I get a chance to paint them!
I wish I could do things like Kiwis, but the material we use is too fragile to have long beaks and legs, so I am forced stick to blobby shaped things.

    Hi Melody 🙂

You’re probably like “enough already” with the “will this be stocked or offered ever” or “hey, what about this idea”.. posts from me, not to mention the zounds you must get day to day in general from your adoring fans!

Oh that’s too bad about the boar, but at least it makes the hunt for one all that sweeter if one is found for sale yet.
I didn’t consider the Kiwi beak in a casting process, you’re right, while it would be cute it would be really breakable and difficult to produce – wells back to the creative drawing board! Haha.

Squee! I can’t wait to see future cougar sculpts come out when you’re able! I hope they will stay in stock so I can get one or two!!! (As you may have noticed I have a thing for big cats, particularly black panthers are near and dear to my heart.)

Thanks again for taking the time to reply to my post and shed insight into what’s what. See you later!

Hey there, I am fairly certain that Melody has said she will be doing at limited production or grab or something with the cougars in natural colors

    Hi ~

Oh really?! That will be sweet! I hope they won’t sell out before I could try for one! Thanks for sharing.

I didn’t really care for Tigard, but Tiger Cape is petty.

I’m just the opposite, I thought tigard was awesome but tiger cape was meh.

Oh my gosh! I love that leopard but can’t afford it! Melody please paint some of the cats in production or grab bag colours so I can get one!

When I saw the leopard and rainbow black cougar test paints I instantly was like MINE – those should be MINE!!! Unfortunately their payment was in a hefty helping of currency and not heart’s desire or I’d have won them!
Grab bag cougar test paints would be the cat’s ***!!!

Rainbow is absolutely stunning for momma griff garg I think. I wanted this test paint so bad when it was on Ebay but it soared beyond my budget at the time. I hope there will be more someday or a means to score one. I’m gaga over the pumpkin or autumn leaf/pumpkin little rock dragon test paints too and tattoo orientals – their owners are soo lucky!!!
