Now, Wampus, if you start bidding high on things Syn is bidding on just to run the price up on her is way uncool and very malicious. This is not only a threat to her but to all of us who bid on these ebay pieces. It’s also against EBAY. It’s going to stop some people on bidding on these pieces at least me. and i have bought many many ebay pieces in the past the moment they see you have placed a bid and this will hurt Windstone for they will not be getting as much money as they could be.
      .

DO NOT ACCUSE ME OF SHILLING!! I have NO intention whatsoever on bidding on anything I do not intend to win/do no want. Im just saying that my high bids will be even higher, and if she should try to snipe me again, it will be for a price that I dont intend to re-bid over anyway, and it wont be for an easy price. I have never NOT paid for an auction I won, regardless of price. So watch what you are insinuating!! If I bid, I intend to win, period. I might have changed my mind on a few pieces, but it had nothing to do with who I was bidding against! Nothing whatsoever. If she wants a pink polkadotted dragon or whatever, and I dont actually want it…Im not hopping over there just to bid on it because she did!

I have a problem with ONE person. One person only. And I will not say anymore after this post. Take it or leave it.

To everyone else on this forum besides this one person, I apologize for making a scene… BUT putting a gigantic gorg pile on me for stating my opinion on an internet forum definitely has no chance of solving anything either.

I also prefer penguin chicks. If you made them ‘panda’, it would take away most of the grey and I think they look better with the grey.

What about this little guy and a matching Croucher for a regular production piece? 🙂 He doesn’t look overly complicated and time consuming as some other pieces do.

But then they’d have to release the whole family in this coloration, because generally they should be a set if they are production. Do you guys like the adult penguin colors?

            I do.

LOVE the sitting griffin chick. And the adult penguin colors have grown on me. I like them.

That’s a cool idea. Maybe make a limited production run of the special ‘stone egg’ ones (‘real egg’? ‘natural egg’?) till you have the pewter problems solved. I think that’d be neat!

                This.

Wow. I like how the color is so intense it seems to really glow.

Just recieved my Red Fire Rising Spectral. It is my first red fire and also my first riser. I love the red fire and ruby colors! It’s a shame that windstone had so much trouble with the paint.

Maybe if you cast it in gypsum, you could paint it a more natural egg color, like the hatchers. Or even like the speckled eggs that sometimes show up in Ebay pieces. Model the ‘egg’ sculpt to be the same shape as the current golden eggs and instead she can be holding something a more natural color?

I was thinking about doing just that. Maybe sculpting it with cracks in it, like it is hatching. Hopefully though we will eventually get our pewter problem solved.

I like the hatching idea. I can visualize it in my head.

I like her. Very different. I dont think I’ve ever mentally pictured a penguin griffin. And there it is.

Will there be a matching male and little grey penguin griffin chicks?

Someone sold me their silver curlie recently, so I’m not in the market for more curlies (unless theyre black emerald or twilight), so you guys enjoy the serpentine. I’m among the minority that thinks that color looks better on a Ki-rin. 😀

I’d love to see a sand spectral. There should be a Sand Spectral for the March raffle….that’d be pretty darn awesome…

But what if you didn’t win it? Maybe a ‘version’ of the sand color for a raffle spectral, and then other sand versions for store/ebay? different wing/spine colors, etc. I dont care for sand, but I think plenty of people would be unhappy if the only sand spectral was a raffle piece.

Does anyone else have an Ebay glitch where they can see listings for Windstone auctions before they are actually up? When I view the ended Sand dragon auction, at the bottom I see several auctions listed under “dont miss these related items”. One of them is a ‘Emperor Penguin Mother Griffin #1’. If you click on the link, it says the auction doesnt exist. But I bet in an hour or so, it will be listed since these auctions are scheduled ahead of time. The same thing happened for the Lichen Curlie and the Woven Poad. I saw the listings before they were actually listed. Does this happen for others?

Edit: Yep, there she is. She was listed 40 minutes later.

That’s perfectly fine since white is kinda boring imho. I liked the one i saw listed on ravynheart and it wasnt white. i think it was an artists edition.

Edit: Oh! Oh! I also saw the pic you had listed in a gallery of a Barbados Sheep Gothic Uni. Whatever became of that one?
