I’ll also put in a vote for the yellow-green if he’s a brown bengal. Pretty pretty pretty.

Scanned and sent.
And BDW, I did scan and send the pic Jennifer sketched for the Prairie Falcon Griffin “just in case.”

Okay… BOTH those pieces are adorable!

You don’t know where they’re from except ‘Sunny Florida’. Ver vague–at least city and state would help. I see some that they use store pictures–they will say that but wasn’t there a problem here with someone who did that because they didn’t actually have the piece?
Rule of thumb–if it raises flags in your mind, pass it up. Yeah, you could be getting those cutouts–what you see is what you get!!! XD
I’ve actually seen a Judge Judy (I think) case where that was exactly what happened. The person bidding won the picture of the item. The seller got creamed in court because she posted the weight of the item in the description and the picture couldn’t possibly have been 8 ounces. It was a weird case.

*opens her mouth*
…
*coughs*
I’d like one, too, but only AFTER drag0n gets hers. 🙂

This auction
strikes me as rather odd. The seller has cut out pictures of the pieces from the catalog (?) as the auction picture, but not of the pieces themselves. Is it just me that has alarm bells going off in my head?
Edited to add: Their other pieces look completely legit, so I’m kinda curious about the unicorns.

I couldn’t handle that 😮 The torture!
Do you own any PYO that you painted yourself? 🙂No.. I don’t. But it’s okay. I’d actually really rather see them go to collectors, as I tend to dwell on things that I consider flaws in my own work! 🙂 I think you guys appreciate them more than I would.
*hugs Prairie Falcon Griffin… but gently* 😀

MG, that’s incredibly generous, and I hope you’re able to make someone’s dream come true!

Probably the Tiger griffin, unless you mean ones that we *did* get, and then it’s Mr. Gold Wine. 🙂

I have no hard feelings for people who want to bid and are willing to pay for what they bid on. I’m also very happy to see Windstone get lots of business. I’m just a little wistful that the griffins are getting so much attention lately, since they used to be more of a “niche” creature that you could snag some of the special paints for… well, less than they’re going for now.
Thanks for the discussion about it, and I agree that chickie is adorable! (and expensive!) 😀

*sighs at the prices of the griffins lately*
Guess griffins are the new thing, huh?
They’re so adorable, but I can’t even compete anymore. Gratz to those who get ’em! 🙂

Kachina wrote:Adorable card. I love the expression. Melody, what’s that creature called? I’ve never seen anything like that.
I think it’s called a “Griffocampus” but I can’t be 100% sure. 🙂
Thanks for posting a pic, MG!
