twindragonsmum π An idefinite number. This may of been the last one we had for now, but I will keep painting them in the future as long as people seem interested in them. I am still working on the pattern, so they are still evolving.
Now I am starting to paint “Savanna” griffins. They look like Savanna cats. I’ll post a pic in the blog soon as I get done with one.Yes, please.
And Melody, I’m SOOO glad I found a job… your paint jobs are so beautiful! (even if I keep getting “sniped” at the end) π

drag0nfeathers wrote:Anyone interested in doing something similar with me (kind of what Leigha tried for the last ebay LALOW) but with the Silver Bengal Griffin Mother on Ebay right now?
I need someone to win her for me (basically fronting me the money for now) and then I can pay them back in payments until it’s paid off plus a little bit extra for incentive so you get something out of the deal as well.
You can ask Koishii Kitty, dunreining, siberakh1, or really just about anyone who’s been on the forum for over a year that I have a good reputation on the forum and am prompt with payments.
I can probably pay the bid off within a month or two tops, maybe even sooner so it wouldn’t be too long. I’m just hurting at the moment because I just had to buy $400 worth of oil and just life in general with Shaun’s car and what not…. this griffin just make me MELT! hehe
Thanks everyone. π³
But I was trying to win her for myself…. *droops*

twindragonsmum wrote:me boyohs are ‘squeaking’ for more little flap cats and griffie chicks – Ethan would dearly love a black sunset crouching griffy with blue eyes and Sean would like a black sunset sitting griffy also with blue eye or any other eye color than red. He thinks the red eyes are too freaky looking π I think they’ve given up on a Poadβ’ with racing stripes though they love the tribal Poadβ’s; just can’t afford then on snow shoveling money π

See, I liked the red eyes. Goshawks have red eyes, so they look perfectly natural to me. π

Greater Basilisk wrote:Have fun packing. My sympathies are with you, seeing as how I’m doing the same thing now. π I hope the movers are very, very careful with your Windstones.
I’ve impressed on them multiple times how the Windstones have to be double-boxed. For the vast majority of my collection I kept the original boxes, so it shouldn’t be a problem…. I hope. I’ll also update my collector’s insurance to cover the new pieces. Here’s hoping for a smooth move!

As some of you may know, I used to be Active Duty military, then two years ago I left Active service (and joined the National Guard) to attend college (again). This December, I graduated with my AAS in Band Instrument Repair Technology, and managed to snag a job in Fredericksburg, VA the week after graduating. The next day I found an apartment and drove back to my parents’ home in Pa to finish celebrating the holidays. This is all to the good.
However, now I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off to coordinate moving my stuff from Sioux City to Fredericksburg, as well as taking a load down in my car from Scranton, Pa. Tomorrow I fly back to Iowa to start the monumental task of pre-packing as much of my crap, err, belongings as possible (including a rather respectable collection of Windstones). All this upheaval has me underlyingly anxious, for obvious reasons. Recently, I’ve had several “life changes.” (moving, job change, major relationship change, major family event, etc.) Most people can handle maybe 1-3 in a year. In just the past six months… suicide of a friend, two deaths in the family (one completely unexpected and was the son of the “expected” one), graduating college, finding a job, moving, (hopefully) changing National Guard units…. *sighs* It’s been a very tough few months. Moving is *expensive* and I hope I’ve over-estimated the weight of my crap, err, stuff enough to have a pleasant surprise for once.
Now, based on symptoms I’ve developed in the past two weeks or so, Mom (a nurse) thinks I may have an ulcer (again). *sighs* It never ends. (Of course, one of the good things about having a constantly hurting stomach is I’ve lost five pounds since coming home for Xmas….)
This post is basically an update for those who might care, π and for those who’d like to send a few well-wishes my way. Once I move, I’ll have to update my address with Windstone so I can get all those eBay griffins I (will) win sent to the right place! π

Sorry if that weirded you out. Korean kalbi restaurants sometimes had quail’s eggs as one of the side dishes, so it’s kinda not unusual for me. (And I’m talking in Korea here, I doubt U.S. places would serve them as regularly)

I was, yes, but not at the end there. It got too rich for my blood about an hour before. *sighs* Someday…

WHEN I buy a house (again) I want to have a yard appropriate for chickens. It’d be neat to have birds that can double as pets and breakfast (eggs). π
