Yes, I’ve seen pictures of him. Very drool worthy! I think it would be cool if one day Melody decides to combine the white/pearl color with another color like gold or silver! Oh, but combined with black… that would be incredibly wicked looking!!! Picture an OW with pearl white and black… OMG 😯

Since I paid as much for an Black and Gold Emperor and for my Emerald Spectrals, I think the $300 price is actually very reasonable. I like the Old Warrior better than the Emperor and will buy others that come available. I think Gold is next on my list and then I will go from there.
I will certainly be watching Ebay to see what other prototypes show up! I would love to have a Silver.

Your Black/Emerald/Peacock OW is gorgeous! A very nice combination of colors on him. I am seriously considering buying the white one though. I just need to see how I do on the rest of my Ebay auctions. If I have enough to fund him, then I’ll probably get him. I really don’t want to put any more on my credit card right now!

Oh, God I hope so! I keep checking the store with hope that they will be available again. I couldn’t take it anymore though, and had to ask you again. I’m like addicted to the Poads… I really am. MUST HAVE Metallic Blue POAD! 😯My kid is sick today so I am not going over to the factory today after all. I will check tomorrow. Take deep calming breaths. That is what I do when I think about the next Harry Potter book coming out this month..
Oh, I’m sorry to hear about your child being sick. Hope they’ll be okay. I guess I can wait a little while longer on the Poad whereabouts…. not much longer though! No, I think I’ll manage okay 😆 Thanks for letting me know!
Yeah, I’m pretty sure too that the OWs were never done for regular production. He looks really cool. Wonder is the silver one will ever be made again… I would buy that one too. 😀

I was wondering the same thing about him too. There are only a few left of the Hatching Kinglet, and he’s really cool too. I figured Melody would have to have signed him. Oh, which one should I get first… I’m soooo torn! I know my husband would prefer the little one of course. He’d totally flip out if he found out how much I spent on the OW. He doesn’t collect anything, so he doesn’t get it 🙄

As for the white old warrior, Melody has made some limited ones after ending regular production on them, but one you see in a store will not be signed, and none of them are numbered. There were probably at least a few hundred of them made, I’m really not sure the scale that old warriors sell on.
But see above about white being rare. $300 is a perfectly reasonable price for a white old warrior, and it’s not like they just pop up on ebay every day. You pretty much never see them for sale. $300 is what they sell for direct from the Windstone Store, where there are still a few left. So getting it locally for $300 without shipping isn’t half bad, really.
I personally love the white dragons. I did when I collected Windstones a few years back, and had one too. I’ve never owned an OW dragon. I know they are a generally a little more expensive that the male or mother dragons. I was just curious about the price on the white one in the store though, cause the ruby one is only $235.00. That is probably because ruby has been around for a while and the white is newer. So Maebnus3 has a good point there. I think either way though, he would be a good purchase cause he looks frickin awesome! 😀

Yeah, that’s what I’m wondering too. 😕 Usually when they are priced higher like that, it means only few were produced, or they are signed by the artist. But the white dragons seem to be more sought after by collectors. At least that’s how I’ve seen it in the past. Maybe I outta just ask Melody herself.
Okay, I only became a forum member a few days ago, and just bought a Poad. That’s all I have right now… is a Poad. I have no dragons, but saw this White Old Warrior in the store for $300.00. He looks really cool, and am very tempted to buy him… but just don’t know if I should fork out a bunch of money for this one dragon. Can anyone tell me how many of him were made, and is he is signed by Melody? 😀

Yes, it’s already crossed my mind to buy a few dragons. But I keep reminding myself that I need to save my money for more Poads. I’m currently in the process of selling the rest of my model horse collection to fund my Windstone purchases! Oh, how I hope there will be more Poads! 😀

Haha 😆 I just think they’re so adorable. I want a whole family of them in different colors. I’m patiently awaiting the next one to be released.
