heres a good question… if it was a prototype, wouldn’t melody have written “prototype” on the bottom since they are special? also, wouldn’t it have been number in pen also on the bottom, say #13/50 or something like that? folks who have prototypes: what is on the bottom of yours? i don’t have one to know any better, but i thought they had more that just a signature on the bottom with those….hmm. 😕 seems fishy to me…wierd.
well look what i found on the design toscano site – a copyrighted grand pegasus! i forgot if you were going to name the stunning upcoming pegasus you’ve been working on the “grand pegasus” like the grand unicorn, but it looks like they maybe laid claim to that name already! just thought i’d throw this out there, fyi. 🙂
http://www.designtoscano.com/jump.jsp?itemID=7720&itemType=PRODUCTyes! violet flame was the one i was thinking of! yeah, long day. my gosh i love that color! that one would sell sooo well and look awesome on everyone! oh SQUEEEE!
lol. i confused you with the other purple critter! sorry! i have had a long hard day! well, the ow would look great with probably any color, the question is if they have enough of the old green paint or if they would be able to reproduce it….hmmmm
oh no! lol! i was wondering what the next squeak was going to be for! lol! i was thinking, gosh the forum is going to be so quiet now that the ow in empea is finally in production! neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeext! i’d love to see him come out in flame, but i think we will have to see ruby retire first before that happens, you know, flame taking the place of ruby..i still think silver should come out to compliment the gold production pieces. silver ow -drooooooooool!
wow your mother gorgeous! lucky you! look at all the red on the back legs, you have so little yellow! awesome! mine only has pale red just barely reaching her knee, in comparision! you always get beautiful color examples of the pieces you get! congrats!
well, try threes! i found one in a shop, new in box theoretically and i will have it in a couple of days to put on ebay! WE will get excellent pics of him, as my dad is a pro photographer, will takes pics of whatever the windstone crew wants on him, like lots of yummy close ups!
oh wow, thats cool! you know what, i think it it is good you haven’t gotten yourself out in the dating scene just because most other people are. you stick to your guns and when you happen upon that special person (you never find them when you are looking, mind you) it will feel right and you can take things from there. and because they are that special person, they will respect and truely appreciate your decision for no prior relationships. 😀 nothing to be shy about, that is juicy special! in my opinion, there is absolutely no sense in “wasting” yourself on a superficial, rinky dink, filler relationship, just to have one, cuz other people have one. blah. in the end, it leaves you with nothing other than most likely feeling dirty and disempowered. blah! i wish i stuck to that and never had my first relationship! yick, what a creepazoid, but it was a *learning experience* in knowing what to avoid, lol! still not worth it though, as i would have learned that as i got older anyway. heck, i envy you, so power to you! squee! ( gives you proud and assuring pat on your head) squee! 😀

Not true, I can do a dapple grey with only brushes.
Kyrin
well for ME anyway, though i’d love to try! i’ll try and make a mess, lol! i don’t have an air brush, nor do i care to own one. heck, i’m a sculptor not a painter anyway! good for you kyrin if you can pull that fabulous subtleness off, i look forward to seeing yours and everybody elses! do you normally paint horsies? this will be so different to see how everyone deals with painting a totally different kind of critter, especially now, giving the horse painting folk a great chance to shine! squee! i can’t wait to see!
OMG! lol! ha ha! what a flippin’ visual! i can hear that scrapey rattlin’ now!
thats right it does work! you just have to work with the fur grain the right way…but it sure isn’t too fun in my opinion! where i used to work they painted fur textured critters every day, but their secret was using OIL paints instead, so they had the necessary looooong work time to pull off the needed blending in painting with a brush. they needed super clean, precise detail on small figures, so oil worked best, for the rich color and super workability. i’m tempted to try it on the uni……hmmm….
my gosh i am so all about dapple gray with a nice dark muzzle, soooooo stunning! awwwwwwww! i ‘d love to do the pyo like that, but boy that’s an airbrush paint job, not brush!
i am very interested to see how the crazy colored unis come out.. i am very afraid to paint one in un-natural colors for the fear it would look like a my little pony! lol! it will have to be carefully executed, though one would definitely be pretty with some tasteful interference…
we all do have the option to put auctions on a timer though, so you can schedule it whenever you want it to start for an extra .10 cents. i do it all the time and its really helpful if have free time at thus n such a time, but want to auction to start later..they do have that option… but hey its whatever works best for them, i consider it such a gift that they are offer all these extra things for us at all, not to mention often geared to our specific suggestions! we are lucky little collectors!! i couldn’t imagine any other company catering to their collectors in such a spoiling way -they all have so many things to worry about on a day to day basis!! squeee! yay!
the different auction times could help though, i’ve missed alot of goodies because i work and can’t be sitting at this thing all day every day!lol! thank you but i already have one! 🙂 thanks for the offer though! i am looking for an emerald sun dragon though…for someday.
