woot! i grabbed the sun dragon and the male emerald! squee! now, they just need to get here safely! gulp! thanks sooooo much for the info! the sun completes my oriental collections, not including the dark jades which i don’t think i’ll do. i’ll post pics once day arrives and i put them all together!!! 😀
lol, sounds a little funny.. i tried calling too and there were two women there- didn’t speak the best english-and said they were busy and they’d call me back… haven’t heard a thing…… i wonder if they are getting wise to the sudden interest and will end up taking stock of the phone calls and the requested pieces and price them accordingly if you know what i mean… since they have a history of varying their prices….hmmmm.

I have an account with them…..but either way….here if they get caught doing that…they get fired…
yup, we squealed on them to the superiors, don’t you worry! 🙂 they didn’t do THAT anymore after that, but we still switched to a private delivery company to be sure the fishies were handled well. 😀

lol! i was going to say white eyes would look like silly cartoon eyes! y’all have some pretty close ones to keep ya happy though, with gray, straw and light blue, in my opinion. 🙂
ok folks, i have an update after some careful thinking… since both these guys are pretty special and rare, i think they (especially the dark jade) should stay “in the family” so to speak and go to homes with forum members (as opposed to jolly ebay spenders- pm me if you want to know more about this). i think to stay in their best interest and to keep them safe and loved i will take offers on both of these guys to make such they get true loving homes. i will have better, detailed pics by my dad on wednesday so y’all can see them really clearly. i already have a generous offer on the jade which i assume at this point i will be going with, but i wanted this to be known, (so in case someone was planning to bid on him when i thought i was going to put him on ebay) to pm me about it, or not miss out on the one by the other seller on ebay now. i’m doing my best not to disregard anyone! i may be out later tonight (gotta go see pirates!), so i will do my best getting back to people. thanks! :o)
oh my gosh medusas! i ‘m so sorry! eep! i literally gasped a big GASP out loud when i saw the hobbled flion! how freekin’ awful! a sin to have that happen to any windstone, but especially an older and valuable one!! wahhhhhh! 😥

yup, i most likely will put him up on ebay,to give whoever is interested a fair shot.(i have a bright peacock which is my favorite so i will keep that one). i really don’t like picking who gets something out of a pack of people, i feel so mean knowing i chose someone over another. 🙁 i will take payments, if someone just HAS to have him, but doesn’t have all the funds right now, as soooooooooo much good stuff has been becoming available lately.
his coloring is really nice for a dark… i have the regular oriental in it and his/her paint job is kinda mealy and definitely nowhere near as nice or rich. i’m so jealous!i wish the babies paint job was on my regular oriental!!mine is the emerald one. i put him in for comparison. it would be fun to keep them to have the whole gaggle, but ya can’t keep everything. rare stuff like this is worth more to someone else other than me for sure, i wouldn’t want to keep them just cuz i could, i’ll let someone who is really wants to them complete their collection have ’em. 🙂 boy they are snazzy though- ugh!! i’m still kicked myself that i sold the emerald empress! that was a mistake, but i’ll live without these.
yay! the babes got here safe n sound and in great shape, with mint felt, original boxes and bags! no tags though. in just a couple on tiny places they had paint either stuck to or removed off the bottom, right next to the felt, but they are two tiny spots each, not even. other than that, perfect! the jade color is really neat in person, i didn’t think i would like it but its pretty and deep! i put him next to my regular emerald young for comparison. the peacock is super dark, almost black with purple on the legs and back to punch it up. i forgot to put him against the bright peacock in a pic. i will most likely ebay these two guys as defining their value would be hard, and i don’t like asking a defined amount. we will get lots of clear photos of both when my dad comes out on wednesday to offer for the photo archive, but these were just to show they got here. squee! i love the orientals!
