oh of course i got my ruby sun from you too emerald! hes awesome! i forgot to let you know he arrived safely! he is grouped with my other rubies and is happy having company!
squee! i got some goodies here we go! well as i said somewhere the oriental from cali arrived today, but he was missing his orb. he looked hungry from his long trip with hhis mouth hanging open like that, so i gave him a nice snack i knew he would appreciate! note the “small paint chip” on his back toe..lol.[img]
and then some regular new stuff my empea lap from wolflodge! thank you i love him so much- its my new favorite color – it is absolutely amazing, perfectly visually balanced and one of my favorite pieces now too!

and then i got my paws on an intense empea mother and boy she is intense! my goodness! too much so even! she is a little duller in real life- the violet is not as pinky purple, but its pretty darn close! her green is really limey acidy too! phew! having both versions of this color in person helped to to decide that i strongly prefer the newer more subtle empea( and i NEVER thought i would mind you), as it is more balanced over the whole piece, so you see the whole piece when you look at it and see it as a beautiful whole with soothy tone gradation, as opposed to seeing intense purple/violet and intense lime green then oh, look its on a dragon! your eye is just soooo drawn to the intense colors you see that first, then pull back and see what its actually on.lol! thats just my two cents though! they are both beautiful!

tell me about it!! another one that arrived in a single SMALL box was a black griffin i won on ebay. he came wrapped a couple times in bubble wrap and laid in a standard size priority mail box! you know the one i’m talking about! holy cow! he rattled/tumbled in there like crazy too when i shook the box when i got him at the post office..i was like.. there is NO way he is going to be in one piece, but he was fine! i couldn’t believe it, with all the broken griffin deliveries, i was sure i would be another! 😯
ooh yeah i looked on the shop page and it calls the male for sale as blue eyed albino (he kinda looks pearly though), but on the chick page it says the chicks match the pearl parents. but maybe those were just the ones auctioned, not the same male on the direct sales. hmm. well, a call to the factory when i am ready to buy will solve it i think!
ah yes! he’s clean already! thanks! a good trip to the sink and a hearty toothbrushing job and good as new! the dirt filled the crevices on him, especially on his tail! wow! he even had some paint splatters on him- black- like someone painted something near him and little splitters landed on him! they flicked right off though. all better now,though! now for some gold touch ups!
ok i got mine today! in ONE box, not two which i insisted on. the male was fine, just FILTHY like that grubby little oriental on ebay recently! wow! FILLLLLLLLLLLTHY! i have never seen anything like it! minor rubs to the gold, but that is easily touched up. the sun oriental is “eh”… a chunk of a chip out of the back toe, and he looks wretched without his orb! poor thing! i’ll have to feed him some cheese to perk him up and help him heal! his front toe broke in shipping, but the felt held it on, so i quickly glued it back seamlessly! phew! as previously said by others well wrapped in lots of bubble wrap but in one box. they got here ok which is the main thing.
oh wow ski what a pretty mama! she is so dark and mysterious- definitely not a mama to mess with! moreover is your albino a different white from the pearl chick? he looks like a chalk white with a matte finish and no antiquing! is that so?do you have a parent in pearl? do the chicks match the parent pearls in regards to the gray antiquing? i adore the pearl chicks with their sparkly finish- the detail just sings in the pearl and their subtle shading and was unsure if i should invest in a limited pearl male, if he was lighter than the chicks, like a bright unantiqued white or the same tone….then there is the whole thing if a pearl shade may come out regular production… i wonder exactly what would it be like and if should i wait, as its a big price difference between the limited and production..hmmm. i’m stumped! ack!
oh gosh, now i am terrified! she swore to me she was going to pack them separately and charged me accordingly, we will see what shows up! my guys have to travel to the east coast, so i have my doubts if they are boxed together that they will arrive intact! hmmmm. ohhhhhhhh i’m not going to sleep right til they get here! i wonder how bad of shape they really are: missing toes vs. chipped toenail..hmmm….gulp! 😯 well if nothing else, the bright side is that they will be a good before and after example for repairs! there is the silver lining!
i’ll be curious to see how my pieces show up. ! i’ll let you know when they arrive! i got the oriental “without the orb and only one small chip on the toe/toenail” and a male thats” fine with no damage i can see” . we will see if it holds true. i hope so, but if its minor i don’t mind touching them up. i have perfect paint. long as the arrive intact is my main concern!

awwww thats so sad, only a broken hatcher… well i must say he does have a great work ethic- he works very hard at his job and is very goal oriented in life in moving up the workplace ladder and being a manager type, along with really focused on getting a house, planning for the future etc. not all guys have that… i always find it wierd when guys/people don’t care about/worry about their future…. i do admire him for that, he is very modivated with things he wants do.( just not around the house) he rarely complains or is fussy, he does what he has to do at work. he is very healthy and without bad temper, reasonably tolerant and patient.. its worth a little something. 🙂
ha! yard work?! this one!? NEVER! i mow the lawn and weed the garden! he CAN cook, but he DOESN’T: do dishes, take out the trash, put away his clothes or his bath towel, or do laundry, or vacuum, or mop or take the dogs out to pee.
he does pay some bills/groceries/evening out, give a 30 second backrub, and he can fix computers, but hmm i think thats it. oh he makes a mess really well- hes good at that! he is big n beefy as he lifts weights, so he makes a good pillow/squeeze toy, or heavy furniture mover! great sales pitch huh? lol! 😛 he’d be so offended if he saw this! lol! its all true though!grandio still has them too, with free shipping as well…. http://www.grandio.com/Unicorn-C-6828-C-.aspx so they are still around. they are pretty good there in regards to updating their site if they are out.
