I was wondering the same thing since that auction started! I thought I knew Windstones didn’t come with those kinds of tags. Technically, isn’t this seller then misrepresenting the item? Wonder what seller would say if asked “what makes this dragon a limited edition? It doesn’t come with any of the documentation that Windstone gives such pieces.” Can you tell I don’t like those that misrepresent and sell something to a trusting buyer who thinks they are getting something more special and in turn, paid for just the words of auction rather than the actual uniqueness of the piece? Would like to see them called on the carpet.

I’m really in love with her! Or him- doesn’t matter to me!
In some way she reminds me of a large version of the small limited flap cats that were the black and white spots. I have the bird wing one but I always wanted even more, the bat winged one because of the interference purples and blues on those wings. I can’t find one anywhere that isn’t being asked a mint for. I look out for that small flapper too, all the time but I never run into any luck.
When I saw this one, I had a happy panic attack (if thats possible- believe me, I know panic attacks are not to be made light of). My heart just did ariels like an Olympic gymnast. I’m watching to see how much it goes for and yes, I’m going to ebay stalk Windstone feedback to see who wins so I know of whom to be envious! Hope it’s a forum member!
I’d happily crawl nose first through the worst muck to own a stray cat edition in a dark or colourful colour scheme (iow, not too much white … but it works on the ole soccer ball kitty here).

“Violet”… is HAWT!!! Sorry to go all Paris on ya but, damn I wish I could afford her because she is one sex-eh kitt-eh! I love all the stray eds., but this one is super nice and the purple which I adore, makes up for the white which is lower on my list of colours. But really, she’s just striking and I truly enjoy gawking at her. Beautiful job! Now, if I could just win the darn lottery so I could afford ebay pieces. Or if I could just master metamorphosis so I could become you and paint any Windstones I want for myself! 😆 😛 😳

I’m somewhat near Buffalo m’self right now. Our high at the moment is -2°! 😆I’m saying that if we’re considering too much cold to be evil, and too much heat to be evil, that, given a choice, I’d prefer to live in frigid temps (having experienced them), rather than live in blistering heat in which I’m currently stuck (even if not for this past week). The lesser of the two evils for me, imo, is having it too cold. Again, just my opinion. I have had people severely jump down my throat (not here of course but in real life), saying I’m spoiled and that every day in Florida is a nice day and “how hard it must be to have such a nice day every day” with sarcasm. Like people who live with constant intolerable cold, most of the year, save for a couple weeks in total, we suffer from insufferable heat and humidity here. And again, if I had the choice right now (which I don’t), I’d not live in FL but gladly brave the worst northern winter I’ve ever experienced (which includes spending one New Years stuck in a snow bank in a cemetery because my friend thought she could drive her car down the path and we slid into a ditch and froze.), than the heat offered here. I’ll take Maine cold, Potsdam cold, Plattsburgh cold… bring it, I’ll take it over the heat FL has.

I’m so desperately sorry for your loss. Whether you’re prepared for this inevitability or not, all of it goes out the window when it happens and raw emotion takes over. We tend to appear as though we recover faster on the outside than we actually do on the inside. That however, won’t stop me from wishing you the best, putting you and your entire family in my prayers, and sending you as much positive thoughts as I can. The way you wrote about your last evening, I started to cry which got others coming into the room. It became contagious and they don’t even know you! Not that I do all too much either but we understand in part, what you’re going through (I say in part because everyone’s loss is individual and I don’t want to minimize it by sentiments of been there, know what you feel, etc). I’m just so very sorry.

😆 😆 EDIT- forget it. I was going to say something but I’ll edit it to say FL is NO picnic whatsoever. Having experienced and lived Buffalo NY winters (right next to Can, as well as other parts of NY, CT, and RI), and dealing with heat of FL, I’d take that darn cold, and colder, in a NY minute. I guess everyone feels the grass is always greener, etc.
For those of you in cold climates, stay warm and sending you all the darn heat this furnace state is saddled with- come visit… exit at the sign that says “Seventh Circle of Hell”. And for those of you who are sweltering 350 days a year like us, we send you a bunch of those hand held automatic personal fans and tons of bags full of ice. :hi: 😀

That is my sentiment exactly! We have so much blistering heat for most of the year with only a few weeks of intermittent cooler temps, that this week has been a pleasure. It is not a pain for me at all, even though I’m cold (embarrassed to admit it since I’m a born Yankee), it’s refreshing. You can always put more clothes on (blankets, etc), but in heat, you can only take so much off.
I say I hope the cold STAYS!!! But, it won’t.
Down side only- even when it just rains, people forget how to drive here, imo. If there is ice or snow, theres going to be major accidents. It’s understandable native Floridians don’t know how to handle frozen driving conditions but this state is full of northerners who should remember, or know better how to drive in such a tiny freeze compared to the tons of snow we came from.

Personally, I’d rather see them go with different coloured wings rather than add more white to them. I’m not big on white. I need colour of some sort. But thats just my 2 cents.

Oh darlin’, speaking as someone who has been stalked in actual life, and online, you are not in anyway, weird! In certain aspects of my life, I’m very guarded because of things I’ve experienced whereas prior, I was pretty much very free and an open book. At the least, I do not share photos of me or my family on publicly viewed venues. If you think you’re under a rock, tilt it up, shove over… I’ll bring the popcorn!

So what do people use FB for? Chatting? Games mostly? Posting photos? Can anyone come into your page or can you set up some filter? I don’t really care about anyone from say, high school looking me up, but random strangers happening across I wouldn’t like. You don’t have to post a photo for your front page? Knowing me I’d use an animal photo anyway. Oh, and you can make up info for the required fields? So if I wrote my name as Teddy Roosevelt, it would accept it? Not that I would- and not that I’m a man (not that theres anything wrong with that… heehee), but I was just wondering if it would accept something like Queen of Sheeba or something. Then of course, any of my friends that would want to seek me out wouldn’t be able to find me.
How does the “add me” thing work? I use Apple, so I don’t know that the games on the site would work for my computer- unless anyone else knows otherwise. Why do so many people’s front pages say they would like a “dislike” button? Anyone else ever notice that trend?
Sorry for all the questions but networking sites (which I’m assuming this is, primarily), are mysteries to me since I never use them. I just figure anyone that needs me has my phone number / email, and I never think about people from my past maybe wanting to find and reconnect with me, or those that I’ve lost touch with cause life tossed us about. Biggest draw backs to FB? Best thing about it??

Oh Oh Oh! I hope she says YES! Like your boys, I too love the small flappers since the larger sculpts are sometimes too much for me. I have a small (very small) collection of small flaps and would love to add a pretty one like this one to the pride!
