I failed algebra in HS, but it was because I wanted to be in the cool ditching in crowd, not because I didnt get it. When I showed up, I did ok. Hopefully I can do ok now… Paul loves math but he is not here anymore. I should have planned better, but I think I would not like him to see me struggle.
My mom will probably move when Paul moves in. It will be too much having both of them here. Me and my mom have a pretty rough history, so I hate having to rely on her like I do, but those are the breaks when you have a 24/7 job. 🙁
I agree it would be a bit much having your mom live with you and Paul. I think you do very well, all things considered. 😉
My great-aunt had the most beautiful cranberry glass. I know some of that can be valuable. She and my great uncle loved antique stores. They would spend their vacations prowling stores in various states looking for “finds”. My great uncle collected books. First he filled up their basement, then he had to rent a storage place. I think it was more like a small warehouse. 😮
Sadly, I don’t know what happened to the glass or the books. I wasn’t offered the chance to keep anything when they passed away. 🙁

You didn’t take the Beastie, did you?
Btw, welcome back GB. I missed you! 😀
Aw, thanks. And yes, I did take the Beastie, for all 4000 km of the trip. It had as much fun as I did, especially since it survived the trip without vibrating loose any screws or levers… 😆
I’m glad Beastie behaved and didn’t leave a trail of parts behind him!! 😆
I think the long plane ride might get to me too. Mimitrek flew to Australia not too long ago. She survived. 😀
You’re silly!! XD
Is your mom thinking about moving?
Algebra…I remember it just like it was yesterday…well last year anyway. Sean had honors Algebra last year. 😆 College Algebra is a lot tougher though. I was pretty good with math. I wish I could help, but I’m not sure how we could work that out.

I’ve got more pictures, but I’m afraid I’ll overload the boards with too many pictures.
Overload us, please!!! 😀
Oops!!! I bet your husband steers clear of the glass now. 👿
If you’re like me (and I know you are 😉 ), you must be running out of display room. Any plans to add more shelves?
Prison break!!! XD
Yes, what were the circumstances for the Puerto Rico trip. Italy too!
I’m with Ski about Australia. I’d love to go there and New Zealand. The footage of New Zealand in Lord of the Rings was breathtaking!! 🙂
Yes, she should.
Just college; new baby; taking care of Justin and your other pets; and work…I’m glad you’ve decide to relax. 😛
I love the Desert Green and the jelly fish!! What a cool collection!! 8)
I would think cats and glassware would not necessarily be a good combination. How you keep things from getting broken?
This is great news!! (not what I’d normally say about a breakup). Hang in there. Things can only get better from here on out.
The Castle [Dave wrote:“] “What part of alternate reality don’t you boys understand?” Well, clearly a whole bunch of Star Trek die-hards, who surely should know better, just simply didn’t grasp the “Alternate” part.
Just a minor correction here Dave and Jasmine. It was not an alternate reality, it was an alternate timeline. There is a big difference. Alternate reality implies that you have two different realities existing at the same time. Star Trek did many, many episodes based on that. They were all done very well. Alternate timeline means the current timeline was erased and no longer exists. That’s what I object to. Alternate reality, I’m fine with. Alternate timeline, I am not.
Ski, Vulcans were not rare in the movies or the series. Their planet did not blow up before. This was something new.
On another note, I was fortunate to meet many of the Star Trek actors, including Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelly, William Shatner, James Doohan,George Takei, Brent Spiner, Lavar Burton, Marina Sirtis, John DeLance, just to name a few. It was a pleasure meeting them. They were all very friendly and in many cases more than willing to sign autographs.
