I really like that dragon the way it is, but then again blue is my favorite color. I’d love to see a blue dragon as a production color one day. (I don’t consider peacock or emerald peacock “blue” dragons. They have other colors on them and really aren’t mainly blue.)
I prefer the crouching chick, but I usually buy both at the same time. I think that they’re best as a pair.
Yep, the feathers are on the back of the wings. The curlies have them too. Take a look. I thought it was really neat when I first noticed it.
I noticed the ear touching the wing when I got my first mother griffin. However, when I first started collecting the feathers on the back of the wings on the dragons caught me by surprise.
I got one of the dark-tipped beaked female black griffins, and I like her much better than my male. She has more color on her wings, her beak looks better with the dark tip, and I like the fact that her talons are shaded and antiqued. I kind of wish that there were some males done this way.
I am now skylover55 on ebay. I used to be jennifer3298.
I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember when my grandma on my father’s side died. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I haven’t seen it since summer, but I can answer a couple of these.
The transformers “disguise” forms were scanned. When the other transformer arrived, the movie showed this.
Bumblebee wasn’t ripped in two, Jazz was. Bumblebee’s legs were damaged.
The rest I can’t really answer, but my brother is always quick to tell me not to take fantasy movies so seriously. I was complaining about how at the end of the second Underworld movie, the the blades on helicopter that they had crashed in were still moviing thoughout the entire final battle touching the ground and only stopped when the evil head vampire was shredded in them. He said “You’re watching a movie with werewolves and vampires running and flying all over the place and you’re complaining about the helicopter?”. He was right. I had to just laugh at myself at this point.
I enjoyed this movie. I used to watch Transformers as a kid all the time. It just brings me back and was fun to watch.
WHOHOO!!!!!
Look at what came today! She is just incredible!
Never mind! I finally broke down and bought one.
Yes when someone changes their ebay name an icon will appear next to their name for 30 days. If you click on the icon you can see the previous ebay name.
That’s a decent buy! Kirins are getting hard to come by and the last male I saw went for over $250.00.
The shipping thing is strange. I would talk to the seller before paying to make sure. You might want to point our that it does say free on the auction.
The seller was Whippet who is a member on this forum. I’m not sure why she recently changed her name though.
Quote:I am a retailer and I would love to see an email every now and then. The advantage of these is that you could include pictures or links, without the cost of printing pictures. You could also include info on what is up-and-coming, as well as new products that are out and ready to ship. I keep up with the forum to keep on eye on all of the griffins (which I collect for the store), but I know how helpful email is for all of the companies that I do not have a chance to keep an eye on. Just an idea!
Yes, I think the email idea is exactly what they would like.
I have told them about the forum, but they tell me that with everything else that is going on in their business that they don’t have a lot of time to check out the forum. I can keep nudging though and see if they’ll come on and share their thoughts and ideas. They know their needs better than I do.
Hello!
I’m not sure who to ask about this…
Lately my two local retailers have told me that they do not seem to be getting updates or notices from Windstone about new pieces and feel like they’re in dark about what is going on. They tell me that they usually don’t learn about anything new unless they call and ask.
I don’t want to meddle in the relationships that Windstone has with its retailers, but is there a way to make sure that they’re getting the information they should? I’m just sensing a lot of frustration. I usually try to wait about 2-3 weeks when something new comes out before I ask for it.
Told you I was watching and would try. I still can’t believe I won though. It’s going to be so cool to have her!

I loved drive in movies. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve gone to one though. Wal-Mart bought out the last one in the Springs.
I remember our computers when I was in grade school. They were Apples that took about 10 minutes to boot up and used “floppy” floppy disks. They also had the incredibly slow and noisy dot matrix printers.
My family didn’t have a computer in grade school. I had to type up my reports on a typewriter because my teachers wouldn’t allow a handwritten one. It had no correction tape and typing it up took forever.
I remember being on AOL back when there weren’t as many members and you didn’t have to use numbers in you account name.
My dad used to have one of the first DVD players. It used huge disks that had to be flipped over half way through the movie. My dad wouldn’t let us touch it or the VCR because they were so expensive.
(Jeez I’m only 25 years old!)
