I will probably be around either day, but I am working the 4th (I’m taking my holiday another day), so I just wouldn’t be able to use a chat function. Being on the forum itself isn’t a problem though 🙂
Will either of the spectrals ever be done in Black Gold, or is that somewhere on ‘the list’ to be done… eventually?

Yeah, my family (my dad seems to be ok, but mom and the other relatives) aren’t thrilled with the idea, but it’s not for them to decide. They aren’t the traveling abroad sort 😛

I love cold weather and can deal with it far easier than humid, hot weather. If the temp gets up to the mid 80s and humid, it starts to get unbearable quickly. I’m a snowball! Iwate is just above Miyagi prefecture. I’ll be happy with any prefecture really, but I would prefer the less densely populated ones. There are also less creepy large bugs up in the north 😉 I can deal with Mukade and the occasional large spider (I think the one I’m thinking of has a name that translates to ‘skull of heaven’ – they are bigger than the mouth of a pint glass 😯 ). I think I’d lose it if I had to deal with the bird eaters in the south! 😯 So. Big.) Bummer on the Cherry Blossoms though 🙁

A tokonoma usually holds a seasonal ikebana floral arrangement and a wall scroll because it’s the focal point of the room. It’s extremely taboo to step into one (kinda like sticking chopsticks upright rice). If that isn’t something up your alley, you could always put a really nice piece of artwork or wall hanging there, or hang up some pictures in there 🙂 I love the idea of the windstones tiered like Japanese dolls! That would look awesome! 😀

My collection is small, but I get a piece every so often. I’m hoping to get the trilogy pieces by the end of the year. I have until the end of the year. So hard to trade off between windstones, anime, and swarovski 😉I got to eye the awesome display that the store near me had. The store is so quirky and has alnost EVERYTHING: English beauty stuffs (soaps, candles, lotions), swarovski, stuffed animals, jewelry, specialty candies, decorative flatware, LLadro, other glasswear… the list goes on! Just a fun store to go through and drool! 😀

No one has said that they are for sure, but the white SK are on #9 now. If windstone puts up another one shortly after, I think it would be AL, unless there are other ones on deck that we don’t know about (*fingers crossed*).

I may need Purpledoggy to help me squeak 😀 I doubt I could ever afford an auctioned one with the prices they are fetching ($1000+) if AL SK start to go up in the next month or so (and some people even have more than one :shock:.. lucky people – maybe my dog will cough up a diamond like that cat in the commercial…), so I have to squeak and hope for direct sales or production! Hey, I’ve been fairly quiet this long 😉

It’s just the lighting. They are using a very yellow light in that picture. Distorts the true colors a little.

Unicorn________$145Medium used: Acrylic paint, interference paint, pearl-ex powders and little brushes! Some airbrushing (basecoat), pastels (Alphacolor when used… Sennelier has been found to not work well, due to the lack of binder, giving a splotchy effect), or leafing when required.
Brand(s) of paint used: Golden and Liquitex brands. Golden brand interference (I have all the colors). Will use other brands if a speciality paint or color (like metallics) is requested or required to complete something.
Are pet portraits offered: Of course, as long as pictures are provided for reference.
Shipping method: All PYOs are shipped in their original boxes, bubble wrap/peanuts, and double boxed with insurance (broken PYOs make me sad). I’ll ship either USPS, UPS, FedEX, or DHL.
Shipping rates/insurance: Shipping for the lower 48 is $10. Call for a quote for other locations.

Hehe… most people in NYC don’t even own cars. A lot of my NYC friends never bothered to get driver’s licenses. It’s expensive to keep, and then to park, a car down there. Many people rent cars for trips, or even by the hour if they need to. 🙂
