Sorry you didn’t get this one, but never fear. They come up pretty frequently, since they were produced for a number of years. π
Butternut Poads are up in the store, but not the metallic ones… yet…
Those are the spiders I was talking about (or maybe I was talking to someone else… or forgot to type it…). I can’t check the site from work, but I believe the Japanese name for them translates to ‘skull of heaven’. The good thing is they aren’t poisonous (just feel like little needles if they do bite) and they eat roaches. It’s the centipedes you have to worry about that (called mukade π ). If they walk across you, they leave marks from their ‘footprints’. If you get bitten by one, GO to the hospital immediately. Same with the giant wasps (giant as in several inches long… you can hear them so you know to avoid them.. they don’t have the best dispositions either). Be glad. Okinawa has bird eaters. They are large enough to catch and eat small birds (think bigger than your hand) and they move fast (unlike a lot of tarantulas you can get for pets – many of them are fuzzy rocks, unless you give them a cricket and they are hungry).
Actually, the Arctic regions, including Mt. Everest, have their own forms of spiders that survive in freezing climates. They really are everywhere π I like spiders, but they freak me out if I get surprised by one, especially large jumpy ones. *shudder*

Giant Hornet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_giant_hornetIt’s just an old green hatchling.
I have a Prototype Emerald OW, pearl female griff and chicks, brown hatching emperor, the curls (except the gold… soon), the black pegasus family, and a butternut poad with hazel eyes.

…. and THAT is a great comment to end the night with (off to bed after a long evening of tech support…)
I’m curious as to what it is too, but I’m busy enough to not worry about it. Besides, I’m thoroughly enjoying watching people squirm over this and there are still 3 weeks to go? *evil grin* π π
My young oriental looks just like that. Looks great next to my emerald adult and ruby sun π

Really?!?! Pheew! That makes me feel better π I was hoping to put money aside for a few other things first. Wasn’t expecting guinea pigs to show up, let alone now! π
I just picked blue before I realized that the blue available isn’t a light blue like on a real horse. Light blue would be nice, since a lot of lighter colored horses have blue eyes instead of hazel ones. Also, brown eyes would go good with dark horse colorations (like black or dark bays).
Sshhhhh… I’m hoping at least one sticks around until the end of the month when I place my next windstone order for non-PYOs 8) π

Lucky find! π

Yeah, at least he was a breeze to do, other than the having to repaint it lighter. The rest of the ones on deck will take more time π
