That’s silly. I’d have paid the shipping and the dragon would be on it’s way.
I have a hatching emp, who needs his clear coat refinished. What should I use? I bought him off of ebay and he was more damaged than his description listed him as, the seller and I have come to an agreement to refund part of my purchase price and I’m going to keep him, but he needs a little TLC. He had a chip on his neck and it looks like they got adhesive on their hands and damaged the clear coat on the egg. The chip wasn’t a great fix but isn’t noticeable with him in his spot in the display case.

My Poad had a great big old finger print on his cheek 😯
He/She is all all creamy with a blackish gray print right on her cheek.
Is this a new way for Melody to sign them? On the bottom and the finger print for verification?

Send them a letter, certified mail return receipt requested along with a regular letter in the mail. Indicating the repair is complete but they need to contact you and send you $X.XX to pay for the return shipping before the piece will be returned. (I’d also charge ’em for the cert. letter since you’ve had to go to so much trouble.) Indicate that if they don’t respond in X amount of time you will assume they don’t want their piece back. Indicate in the letter that will keep/sell whatever the piece in an attempt to recoup you losses. The Cert. letter is important becuase they have to sign for it so you have proof they actually received it. Make a copy of the signed letter and the envelope you’re mailing it in for your records.

It was suppost to be 10 but in reality it was 9. I have one coming that I got for BDW, who didn’t get my PM before she ordered one if I don’t like it it’s up for offers. Suzie was hoping it’d be in the mail yesterday and it takes about 6 days to get to me here.

With USPS they give tracking numbers with overnight packages. FedEx and UPS track everything.

I’ve hauled US mail and FedEx before, sadly no UPS freight. I much prefer the way FedEx handles their packages over the post office. They seperate the packages into large bins which they then roll onto the truck or into the plane. The PO just slings the boxes directly into the trailer to stack them. Obviously that still works, since a lot of stuff goes through them undamaged, but wow they can be rough. Things may have changed in the 5 years I’ve been retired, but this is just what I saw with my own eyes.

Keep as mind as well that if there’s bad weather somewhere along the route, the driver might be delayed a bit. Technically they only have so long to complete the run, but sometimes mother nature steps in.

Thanks, I’m still hoping. I’m just concerned becuase Ski’s griffin arrived and so did my package from Windstone and they were coming from much farther away and shipped out after the little guy. I’m hoping he’s hung up in a postal hub and will showing up soon.

I’m the reason he was so expensive. I wanted him but I made myself put a limit on how much I was willing to pay for him. I have my eye on something else. I’m glad you got him, he’lll stay in the family that way, I’ll love to see pics of him in a different light.
