Please don’t try to remove the eyes from your sculptures! It can easily break the sockets very badly. If you really need to know, I think koishiikitty can help you, and you can PM her. We would rather not have discussion on eye removal methods here for copyright/protection reasons, please. 🙂

Will do. And sorry about that. 🙁 copyright didn’t even cross my mind when I asked… plus with the question of removing the horns on unicorns… Oops!

        Learn something new everyday!!! 🙂

Ok here is a much better question… I want to put a pearl spray as a finishing touch on a piece… How would I protect the eyes so that they don’t also get sprayed???

        Thanks

I have noticed that some of you have taken out the eyes on the dragons when you paint them, How do you do that??? 😉

          Thanks!

It IS hard to do a tabby griffin, but fun also! ^_^ I do my tabby cat griffins (well, their stripey butts anyway) hair by hair, which takes forever, but ends up looking pretty neat! I really need to post Ski’s latest tabby in the gallery….

COOL! I might try it sometime!!! 🙂

I forgot to ask “How many does this serve”, which is to say How much chicken goes with that much sauce?

As you say, the sauce will keep OK if I make too much, but if I make too little it won’t work. And I don’t have a “feel” for cooking to a recipe. I normally just throw stuff together and hope for the best, which doesn’t happen often enough…

I usually buy the chicken thighs that comes in 12 to a package, it will fill a 9×13 pan. The sause that you make will cover all of that. What ever it doesn’t cover you can just spoon on. If you need to make more you can double the ingredants (done it several times) and it still comes out tasteing the same. OR if some like it HOT you can make one batch mild and add a few more peppers to the next! (I have done that too!)

                Hope that helps!!!

When I was younger I could eat this like it was going out of style… Now is a different story! lol

This is dang near like eating just sugar… its pretty rich! While baking it, keep an eye on it since most stoves vary in heating… you want it to be a nice Golden Brown. This is something my grandmother would make.

                      Smokie Mountain Magic Bars

                      What you will need….

One box of yellow cake mix
                      4 eggs
                      1/2 cup softened butter
8 oz of softened cream cheese
16 oz box of confecterany sugar (powdered sugar)
                      One 9×12 pan

Mix the yellow cake mix with one egg and the 1/2 cup softened butter. Mix well… the mixture will be very sticky. After you get is all mixed, press into the bottom of the 9×12 pan, press smoothly on sides of pan.
                      Preheat oven to 350.
Mix together the 8 oz of softened cream cheese, 3 eggs, and 16 oz box of confecterany sugar. Blend well and pour into pan, spread it evenly.
Put into the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes OR until done. I’d check it at 30 minutes or so!
                      Let cool and enjoy!

Serve to children in SMALL CONTROLED AMOUNTS! lol Lots of Sugar!

                        1. In a LARGE skillet, brown one pound of ground beef until fully cooked; drain grease. Add chopped onion and bell pepper.
                        2. Add seasonings and spices, 1/2 to 2/3 cup of water, add beans Undrianed, diced tomatoes Undrained, corn Undrained, green chiles, tomatoe sauce.
                        3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and cook uncovered for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occassionaly.
                        Serves about 10 to 12!

                        Serve and ENJOY!

I usually brown the meat and cook the onions and bell peppers together… and in a separate Large and deep pan start the other stuff! It makes A LOT!

Serve with corn bread or crakers! Its pretty good stuff!

                          the dad…the son moved away…

I had him for a drawing class too….dropped him right after class…

there was nothing else open this time so I’m stuck…we are all teaching each other and ignoring him

Oh that sucks! I had his son as a teacher for computer graphis. He was good! He did the graphis for the “Dark side of the Moon” Pink Floyd thing at the Discovery Center.
                          He was really cool.

Thank you. I now know what WE are having for Sunday dinner!

Really, this sounds truly wonderful, and a welcome change from Texas BBQ Broiled Chicken Bits, which is what I often cook up when feeling frisky.

                              You are welcome! 😀

We make jerk chicken too! The recipe is almost the same as the one you listed, but we add fresh mangos to the jeck sauce. 🙂 It’s really delicious (and hot!). You can also grill the chicken (basting with the sauce frequently) for a more ‘blackened’ flavor.

Yes… it is very good stuff!!! 🙂
