Yeah, you kind of need to have that timing belt changed ever so often, because if it breaks, you’re not going anywhere, period. and yes, it’s an expensive repair/maintenance, they have to pretty much take your engine compartment apart to get in and put it where it needs to go, so labor cost is high. Though it’s a $300 repair around here, or used to be. Difference between Illinois and California, I reckon.
Yeah, I’m supposed to leave from Chicago tomorrow for London, but things aren’t looking so good right now. My flight doesn’t arrive in the UK until Tuesday, so it hasn’t been canceled yet, but…yeah. I may have to reschedule my vacation.

Paypal said I owed them the money BACK from the bank even though there is no signature or proof that I received the items. In the mean time, my account was locked and 2 people sent money without asking so I had $50 sitting in there they locked up to ‘pay towards what I ‘owe”. I called, and tried to argue it- no joke- they told me if I did not pay they would find my relatives’ paypal’s and lock them all up too until they got the money they were owed. I did not get the guy’s name and am kicking myself. I cannot believe they would say something like that. I said have fun figuring out who they are and hung up. This was a couple weeks ago, still steaming angry re-thinking about it 🙄 😡 😡
Wow, that sounds like, y’know, extortion…
My sis and I went to see it this past Saturday. I’ve filed it away with Kung Fu Panda. It’ll be opening in the UK about the time I wander over there to visit, so I’m sure my friend and I will have an afternoon and go see it while I’m there. It was cute, and fun!
We have two computers in the basement to run the printing equipment we have and my father bought four gigs of ram for each.
Well, he got the ram in one of them and it worked fine. When he put the ram in the other one, it all went to hell. Now, he’s a car mechanic and thought nothing of putting his fingers all over the ram, just as an important detail.
Now the other computer, even with the original ram back in place, all you have to do is plug it in and the fan takes off like a plane. It won’t boot and you don’t even have to turn it on for the fan to go nuts. What are your thoughts? Power supply? Motherboard? Something else?
Might not hurt to try him on some wet and see what happens.
hadn’t thought about it, but sure, we could do the Snerl stuff
There’s a note with info on SWG’s facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Steel-Wolf-Graphics/57513839355
And we have a t-shirt printer now too. Like, put a t-shirt in it, hit print from Photoshop or Illustrator and it prints on the shirt.

what a great saying. couldn’t agree more!
When’s the last time you read Black Beauty? 😉
And MG, hang in there, things will turn around at some point.

February 20, 2010 at 7:13 pm in reply to: Prices lowered on Wolf Color Sitting Chick, Bat – Pg. 1 #798670That would be a me three. I can’t even get paid web design work because people are going to the hacks that will build them a site from a template for next to nothing. I don’t use templates, I hand code and design everything from scratch, but quality and guarantee don’t mean much to anyone right now.
The vinyl stuff I just got, so I haven’t even put in a big effort to get it off the ground yet, but argh. When will the depression end?
You have chosen tears poem:

Warning, it *is* a little bit of a tear jerker, but the best explanation I’ve seen yet for why we keep getting pets that don’t live long enough. Better than the Rainbow Bridge stuff that I’ve come to think of as cliche.
Melody wrote:Oh, I forgot about this. We need to research ways to have stickers and vinyl items made but I can only manage one extra project at a time!
( I literally have been spending every spare second scanning sketches to put a COA sketch book together, and working on Reptangle™)I’m capable of doing vinyl projects with one color vinyl or printed. I could do a few at a time, though probably not for $2 each. Depending on the size we’d be looking at more towards $8 – 10 apiece. These would be the car/window decals. I also have some removable wall stuff I just got yesterday that can be used indoors on smooth surfaces and removed without damaging paint.
I’m hoping the winged wolf is in there too.
