On the one hand, Hannah, I’m sorry you had to let the poad go (hope your cat is better) but on the other hand, YEAH!!! I got my poad! I was really bummed when I lost it the first time around so I made sure I was there for the end of the auction the second time….I’ll give her a good home (she’ll havw two sisters to hang with). I’m even thinking of featuring her in a “Poads Like…” posting 😀

HA! I have just the opposite fear – that I’ll get a safari and no one will trade with me so I can get a candy corn!

How did you capture such clear photos from the recorded livestreams?

I actually press the control key (Ctrl) and the print screen key (prtSc) at the same time on my keybord…then I simply paste the screenshot into a program called Paint, or you can just use photoshop if you have it. Then I crop the picture down so that you don’t see my whole computer screen but only the unicorns. Then I put them all together in one photo using the same program by simply coping and pasting them onto one page in Paint.
Here is a tutorial which may be more easy to understand 🙂

    Thank you!

Originally Melody did plan to paint all fantasy colored unicorns. However, someone mentioned that these may be the last young unicorns for a long time and there was a stong push for safari/natural corns as well. The forum seems to be split with some preferring candy corns and some preferring the safari. Melody was trying to please everyone. Splitting the batches might be the only solution but it won’t be a clean one because many of the unicorns are a little bit safari and a little bit fantasy; which batch would you put drag0nheathers’ radioactive yellow eyed, rainbow colored zebra?

    It wasn’t me. 🙁

Beautiful! She looks like the false colour photos from the Hubble Telescope of the Horsehead Nebula. Outstanding!!

I think you should sell them together. For one thing, if you sold them separately, the batch sizes would be so small that they would sell out too fast. Also, I wouldn’t worry about people hating what they get: Everyone is totally familiar with the concept of trading and even if you did split the batch, there would still be trading. In fact, forum members will get grab bag whatevers that they really like and still put them into the trading pool in case something more to their individual tastes becomes available.

By the way, I prefer the fantasy colors myself, but I would not be bummed if I got a safari young! I’ve only seen one or two youngs on the livestreams that I would consider trading – give yourself credit. You are an amazingly creative and talented artist and all of your work is fantastic! Thank you for doing these grab bags so that anyone can get a OOAK Melody Pena original!!

It looks like someone bought the dragon and it doesn’t appear to have been purchased by a forum member…we may never know what happens to him
