The original “Comic Con” is has been held in San Diego every year its founding in 1970.
There is also a New York Comic Con, a London Film and Comic Con and a Emerald City ComiCon all of which are not affiliated with each other.
Thank you Pegasi. I did not know there was more than one Comic Con, and I had no idea it was in San Diego. Now that I think about it, most conventions are held in the same place each year.
CherylKaufman, another forum member, had the Male Griffin in Pearl. I think she wanted $230 for it, but I don’t know if she still has it.

Eeep! Lokie, I forgot to answer your other question. No, I do not use Japanese at my current place of employment because I am currently unemployed.
The heat isn’t helping the wildfires in Southern California, either. Luckily, it’s supposed to cool down today.
