Where are the pics of the new kitty? One cat I adopted wouldn’t come out from behind my sofa for days. She ended up going to the bathroom behind my sofa and ruined my carpet 😥 She was a really old cat and I think she came from some older persons house who was a cat horder so she didn’t know any better. I had to find her a new home because she refused to come out of hiding and ruined the carpet in three of my rooms. I have a kitten that my husband got me for my bday and he is a nut. Has to be with you at all times and demands your full attention even when I’m on the computer, lol. I love cats!
I’m from the east coast 😀 I live outside of Baltimore in Maryland.
WOW you guys are fast! emerald212 you have a pm 8)
I see on the main page that you can buy limited production windstones direct from windstone but is it possible to buy regular production pieces from them direct? I ask this because all of the shops near me that used to sell windstones have closed and I hesitate to buy from online stores since its so easy to get ripped off. I really, really, REALLY wanted to get my hands on a peacock scratching dragon but with no shops in my area to buy from I’m out of luck (that and the fact that peacock is now a retired color /cry).
January 11, 2007 at 5:47 pm in reply to: Should people expect a cost of living increase annually?? #527035It took me two years to hear anything back from the fire department when I applied. I had given up on getting the job until I came home and the message was on my answering machine that they wanted to hire me. So don’t give up on government jobs, they just take forever to hire people.
January 11, 2007 at 4:19 pm in reply to: Should people expect a cost of living increase annually?? #527027Well mine is a government job (fire department) so I don’t know if that makes any differnece. I know Maryland is a right to work state, at least I think thats what they call it. My husband was fired because of his illness but the lawyer told us as long as they didn’t come right out and say “we fired you because of your illness” there was nothing we could do. You have the right to work and employers have the right to fire you for no reason. I have been at jobs where they wouldn’t give you a raise. It was pretty much if you want more money and can’t live off what we give you go get another job somewhere else.
Where the heck was I for this thread. When are these coming out cause I need one, like YESTERDAY! OMG he is soooooooo cute!
January 11, 2007 at 4:09 pm in reply to: Should people expect a cost of living increase annually?? #527025I love my job since we have a union that negotiates our contracts. Every year you go up a step on the pay scale and our union usually gets us a bigger raise every year or two. When I used to work at the hospital they once gave me a 5 cent raise! I told them they should have just told me “sorry we can’t afford to give raises this year”. I mean come on 5 cents its like a slap in the face!
Cool where do I sign up 😛
I got my copy at Best Buy too, lol.

OMG no the best part Tim Curry ever played was Darkness in Legend! I love that movie and my poor husband hates when I watch it.
