Ah, lovely as always! The Griffin Cat has especially pretty markings (natural browns go so well with metallics). Congratulations and I hope they all find nice homes!

Such a great set of stripe contrasts! And N’Twe’s little purple/violet spots totally fooled me. I thought you’d placed crystals as eyespots on the wings! So nice! Great work!

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_nameI tried out a scheme in photoshop using a fish (Aulonocara Blue Gold Fish) on a dragon when I was exploring options for an upcoming wedding present but it didn’t turn out very well and I decided to go with a different inspiration haha. It was a pretty weird looking dragon. 😀
I looked up the fish you mentioned. It’s very colorful! But I can see how it would be awkward to apply. It’s stripe pattern is really narrow. My sympathies.

I promise you’re not alone in that feeling! Every single one I paint makes me worry too. But you should try to focus on having fun. That’s what the swaps are all about. And every Windstone you paint gives you a chance to improve (no matter if you’re a beginner or an expert), so it’s all good. 🙂

HOWEVER, a few days ago I was looking for glass crafting projects and found this blog post on painting wine glasses and tumblers. So perhaps it has information that would be useful to you? It has a lot of good photos and step by step explanation. Very informative and even specifically names the brands of paint used.

For example…a colorful sea slug. 😉

Prezaurian, I have no idea what became of the phoenix. I do know that it didn’t end up with Skeeterdee, instead it was sent to a forum member who was drawn from the remaining names. But I don’t remember who the forum member was (It’s been awhile, my memory is failing). There were no requirements for entering the raffle, so I didn’t inquire about their intentions for it. If the winning member reads this, maybe they will chime in =D

I’m a bit of a late comer to your thread and I was admiring the pictures of your PYOs when I noticed the phoenix that you gave away. I was wondering whatever happened to it? They all have to be sanded and polished individually to get rid of seam lines, and I think we are probably waiting until we have a LOT of them before we sent them to be plated. Right now we only have a small amount of each kind polished.
