I can’t really afford to paint them just for fun because of space limitations & finances and they don’t really sell. And now that Windstone puts out the occasional pre-painted PYO…. So I guess for the most part unless I join a swap or a new PYO sculpt comes out that I want or someone commissions me I won’t really be posting that much in this thread anymore. I know no one probably cares, but I feel obligated to mention it just in case. Thank you to everyone whose popped by to look and been kind enough to say something.

So here goes. -whines- I can’t get rid of the PYO pieces I’m selling! I know it’s a tough market and all but I just wanted to treat myself to a little self indulgent whining.

Would be absolutely gobsmacked if the grab bag looked like these guys. SO pretty. I do especially like the copper spotting on Grab Bag Test Paint #5. It’s really quite a unique paint scheme. But I would hypothetically give my left ovary for either of these guys. 😀 -laughs-
1 & 3 were tied for first place for me, with 2 as a really close second. I’m not (quite) ready to give up body parts, 😉 so I’m looking forward to the GB batch and hoping I’ll get one that’s similar to one of these.

But after looking at the bids I am a little bit frustrated after noticing that one bidder has won almost every cougar and also quite a few wolves and other pebbles before these and their bids seem to go up to endless amounts. So I almost feel like there is just no point in bidding on anything if one person with money is going to snipe it whether it’s $300 or $1000. It makes me wonder why the same bidder would want two red leopards instead of letting others have a chance at one that was almost identical to one they already won? I am just glad grab bags exist because this has just taken any fun out of bidding on anything now. End of rant.
I really feel you on this one. I haven’t bid on any of the cougars, but SEVERAL years ago eBay was flooded with a really popular type of item and only one or two bidders with super deep pockets were winning almost ALL the auctions over and over again! It was so frustrating! I admit I ended up becoming irritated enough to end up with the philosophy of, ‘If you want to pay so much, far be it from me not to help you out!’ ^_^; Spiteful behavior? Absolutely. On reflection I wouldn’t recommend it either, it bit me in the butt once or twice when I ended up winning the auctions by surprise. Not to mention it’s kind of mean. Though I’m sure the sellers loved it at the time.
Now I try to bid only what I can afford to part with, JUST IN CASE.

Also, for people who want both…they would be able to buy two right from the get go (funds permitting) because the 1 per customer thing on the grab bags doesn’t typically apply to the separate batches. Might save them a fuss on the after market swapping too. 😉

The next grab bag will be tanukis. I was unsure which it was going to be, but tanukis won.

I am actually thrilled that tanukis will be next! I won’t be getting one, but they’ll give me a chance to save for the cougar GB. Just oh gosh, I’m really hoping the cougar one won’t happen around the last weekend of September. I won’t have access to a computer and if I miss them I’ll probably be inconsolable for a week.
