Drag0nfeathers- she told me that the boxes are with neighbors but
you can call her and talk to her yourself. ( read below 🙂 )Susie- Knowing how Margaret is NOT good with computers, electronic
devices/and any kind of ” technology “, I doubt that she will be checking
emails. ( If the Internet ever crashes, it would probably be because
Margaret tried to log on! 🙂 ) She still has difficulty with the ” new ”
forum. I have to walk her through how to check/write PMs. I don’t know how the hospital system works, but unless they print it for her and give it to her, I don’t think she will be reading them, but it doesn’t hurt to try.
The good news is that I did talk with Margaret last night and I asked her
if it would be OK for people to call her while she is recovering. She said she would LOVE to talk to people. She is bored and it would be very nice to talk to her friends from the forum. So, anyone that would like to call
and talk with her, can PM me and I will give you her cell phone number so you can call her directly. She will be in rehab for 2-3 weeks? so she has lots
of time to talk. Even new forum members are welcome to call her.
( She LOVES to talk to people- which is part of her profession – so don’t
be shy to call her. She is a super sweet person and once she is your
friend, you have a friend for life! )Tamara
I have to clarify that I picked all those items over the phone
( except for the beautiful card that I purchased and wrote everyones
names on ) I don’t live near her. I would have to drive about 8 hours
in order to go see her and I can’t get the time off from work right now.
I did take pictures of the card, which I will post when I can.
( I worked another LONG day with NO LUNCH or breaks! ) I can see if
her friend/computer tech/helper can take a picture if he goes and visits
her, otherwise, I don’t have pictures of all the things that we purchased.
I do have an email from Josh ( freind/tech/helper ) that she wants me
to call her because she is in shock and awe from all of the get well gifts
she received last night! I am going to call her now to see if she likes
everything. I will update again , after I talk to her.

Margarets get well package. If you want to contribute, you will need

I guess if people want to donate, they can PM me, then I can give it to them.I figured that I would leave it up to people to decide how much they wanted
to contribute. Newer members, who don’t really know Margaret may not want
to contribute as much as others who do know her. I was just going to see how much was raised, then purchase the flowers, balloons and stuffed animal.
The more money raised = bigger flowers, more balloons and fluffier cuddly.
I don’t like telling people if you can’t pay x amount of money, then you can’t contribute. Is $ 10.00 – $ 20.00 sound like a fair amount to pitch in?
Any more suggestions or is that price range work for everyone? Feel free to PM me if you don’t feel comfortable replying to me in public. I totally understand because everyones financial situations are different.

She was hard to photograph. I had to read the instructions
for my camera so I could get the really close up shots of the
glitter. She still looks the best in person though. When you
are holding her in the direct sun light and turning her this way
and that, is when you see all the complexity of the paint. Every
time you change the angle, it changes the colors with the sun light.
