What color is that!? I’ve never seen it before! ::drools:: WOW!!! 😀

It looks like the Autumn Leaf from the Ebay Gallery.

OOOOH I like it!! XD Thank you, Peg!!! And thanks to you too, Whippet! You guys are huge rockstars.

No problem. I thought the background was a little plain at first anyway. I wouldn’t have thought of the gradient and stars if Whippet hadn’t done it first. Glad you like it.

Awww, shoot!! I like them BOTH!! XD It would be perfect if peg’s was on Whippet’s background….I’ll have to waffle a little on this one. Maybe I can drag them into Gimp and do a fusion! ^_^

How’s this? It’s not the exact same as Whippet’s background, but it’s a little closer.

I never believe most of those when I get them because they never have my eBay name or my real name. Whenever I do get one of those fake emails I always forward it on to spoof@ebay.com and/or spoof@paypal.com

True it may not do much, but it at least gets reported so maybe they get shut down eventually.

If you do do a new one for me (well, if you do you are a super patient ROCK STAR) with the pearl white and black male griffins, maybe you could make it sort of zen yin-yang balance related…? Gah, I’m still so embarassed to be asking for another one, but I’m totally excited about it, too…

If she doesn’t make one for you I’ll take a stab at it. I’ve got an idea, just trying to make the background work now.

Finally got it to work the way I wanted. Sorry if I stepped on any toes. I was bored and had some time so I thought I would give it a try.

Oh I like the idea of this thread. Will make it much easier to see who is willing to take commisions and see examples of their work.

Thanks so much. I still have to decide if I want to brave the griffin for my husband or get someone else to do it for me. I’m thinking of having it colored like an orange tabby/strawberry tiger on the bottom and no clue on the top.

I still haven’t set paintbrush to the wolf I got for my son. I’m scared of the paints! I got one of the brands of acrylic paints recommended in the tutorial because I didn’t realize that craft paints were acrylic as well. Due to how much I spent on the three tubes I’m terrified to use them, but I would feel awful getting the cheap craft paints to paint it.

I’ll get the bidding started on the fellow. Really don’t expect to get it, but who knows.

That one is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t believe your letting him go.

In your eBay auction you mention that you do commissions. Do you mind if I ask what your prices are?

Thanks for letting me know your prices. I’ll definately keep them in mind for the future.

How much do you charge for your commissions? I’d be interested in getting a griffin done by you. It would be similar to your pink griffin, but in orange tabby/strawberry tiger colors. I could provide refernce pictures taken off the Internet.

I understand if I would have to wait a while for you to have the time to do it. I would actually prefer that so I can save up money for it.

How cool! You say it was broken? I can’t tell at all that you have repaired it. Are you planning on doing the random patches down the rest of the dragon’s body? Also it looks like there are some patches in the white where you can see the original color showing through.

What to do, what to do? Of all the curls I like this one best in the Red Flame color, but the husband isn’t here for me to talk to about buying one and he won’t be home until Friday. I never think of asking him what he thinks when he’s home. I really shouldn’t, but I like the coloration.

What to do, what to do?

I’ve noticed that some places seem to be slow mailing out tax related pieces this year. I have yet to get the interest paid statments from my student loan or from the bank account my husband and I have. Until those come I can’t do a thing.

You can always choose to get a Delivery Confrimation Number for your package at the USPS. I’ve been doing that for the books I am selling on Amazon.com Marketplace and shipping via Media Mail. For those packages it’s $.60 and for priority mail it’s less than that.
