if you can rearrange the glass shelves and move them up, you could put her on the bottom (wood) shelf, but I definitely would not put her on any glass shelf. Otherwise, you could find a solid podium online and put that next to your curio.
I’ll be honest here. This is a very upsetting change. I fail to see how unauthorized eBay sellers using stock photos to sell items relates to individual people buying gifts for others or PYOs to have shipped directly to the person who is receiving the gift or painting the commission. This now means paying double (or triple in the case of PYOs) for shipping and having the additional likelihood of an item getting damaged in transit. So, I buy a PYO piece that I would normally have sent directly to the painter. But, now you’re not allowing that, so instead of paying two shipping fees, I pay three – from you to me, from me to the recipient, and then from them back?

Since I can’t seem to edit my above post, I’d also love to see the normal Adult Oriental Dragon made in Violet Flame. That is the only sculpt in that family that has not been done in Violet Flame.
I’d love to see a restock of the Sitting Young Oriental Violet Flame dragon, plus that sculpt in other colors. It’s surprising that a new sculpt like that has only been done in one production color and a few grab bags.
I think the Curled was supposed to be retired since we made them in Amethyst prior to the mass retirement of Amethyst in 2015. My notes say not to retire the Oriental Dragons in Amethyst because we had made so few of those, but to retire the rest of the dragons. We’ve all been regarding it as retired all this time. I am confirming with Melody that it should be retired. -Susie
Well, that will be sad news if the Curly is really retired. But, hopefully if the Ori isn’t retired you will make more of those someday. All of these Amethyst pieces came out during a time when I wasn’t collecting and had no clue of their existence. Plus, other gorgeous pieces like the Violet Flame Ori set.
I have a note that indicates that the Curled Dragon in Amethyst may be actually have been retired when we retired the Amethyst dragon family. I will have to research this! -Susie

“Note: as of 1/16/14 the coloring on these is a bit different from before, with blue along the spine rather than purple – The picture is the current coloring.”
I guess it could go either way since most of the other pieces were retired in 2015.
