Best April Fools we ever did at my Squadron, April 1 fell on a Monday after a 4day weekend that started on Thurs. There were six of us and about 20 rolls of aluminum foil. Now our work spaces consised of these white boxes called conex boxes they’re about 8′ x 8′ x 20′,
bassicaly a big shipping container with openings in the sides and ends for doors and AC units that you connect and can stack and we made our work shops out of. Anyway the six of us with our 20 or so rolls of aluminum foil set up camp in our Captains office in one of these boxes and covered EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING from floor to ceiling in that place with foil. Took the pictures and clock off the wall and covered them, took the clock apart and covered the needles of the clock with foil, covered each individual report and pencil and pen and item in his desk with foil. We even undid each paperclip in his box of paperclips, wapped it in foil and then folded it back up, then wrapped the box in foil. Wrapped his chair, all his magazines, the only book we acually wrapped the individual pages on was his “Special Log” that he always kept on his desk, he always recorded his date and time on and off the premisis for whatever reason and it was always there, so we wrapped all like 300 pages individually in it in foil, then put an nice little bow around it. So for four days we slept in the Admin admin “vans” (what we called our boxes) and then early Mon morning we snuck out before the Captain got there.Dude, he was PISSED…..was so worth it….he called a “mini-assembly and all he said was that he didn’t really want to know WHO did it but that he was leaving for the day and that if it wasn’t all gone by the next morning the entire squad was picking up invisible trash from the ENTIRE flight line for the next 2 weeks. 4 days of work gone in 3 hours….that was painful
Anyway, this year I just told my mom I was pregnant and she just looked at me and said “good luck”…..I can never get her /sigh
Hey, I’m still here and lurking, I don’t really want to dump all my crap on everyone right now though I know there are so many here that are willing to listen and support, I just don’t feel right with so much other bad stuff happening to a lot of other people. But if you could spare some hugs and just tell me that every thing is gonna be all right that would mean a lot, cus I do have a lot on my plate that keeps me from being on here as much as I’d like and love and support people that I should be able to be here to love and support but I can’t because of all this stupid crap that’s screwing me up, and I miss you guys, and I’m just sick of hurting and not being able to think past or do much more than playing point and click games on face book. But ya, I love you all, and to everyone that’s had bad stuff happen that I’ve missed sending hugs and warm fuzzies to, I’m sorry, and know that I always am even if I don’t know about it. I just want everyone’s hurt to go away……

Ok, I have to admit, I saw your painting Jen and said to myself “Oh cool! That’s the picture Jen’s doing a painting of!……Oh…..wait-a-minute…..holy crap, that IS the painting!” >.< I was totaly expecting the actual paiting to be on one of the links. So ya…All I can say is "WOW" as usual with your work and scrape my jaw off the floor. Congrats on how far you got in the competition, even being considered for something like that should be a great honor and a testament to your skills! Here's a PEW PEW that you'll make a killing in the next one!

Animals (even humans) are such amazing creatures when they have love and support! Wether he’s correctly diagnosed or not, I’m glad that he’s still with us and has such an awesome family with you!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA This is like drizzling for Florida! Finaly an El Nino worth talking about since like 1993/94. Cali is getting hit hard by our standards, down here in Orange County, but when I was back in Florida for hurricaine season…..woooo ya this is like “take a stroll it’s only drizzling” to that.

Oh Crimson. I’m afraid my posts on FB probably got lost in the rest of the responses to your news, but Louis and I both have been thinking about you and sending warm fuzzies and thoughts and prayers your way!
I know you’ve determined in your own mind to be strong and get through this, carrying out the detail work will keep your mind off it for a while, but when that’s all over and done with, and the emotion really sets in, we are here for you!
