Ok, Susie said that you can pre-order butternut Poadsâ„¢ now!
They are $100.00 each.I think we still prefer paypal,if possible. Susie will mail you an invoice with the shippin g included when we figure it out.(we don’t know what these weigh in the box yet, but out of the box they are 1.2 pounds)
Today, I will try to post a pic of the Butterbutt Poadsâ„¢ with different colored eyes in my gallery, so you can choose.
The choices are green, hazel(light brown) and lavender.
The eyes are not glued in, so we will give them the eyes you want. We will try to get them shipped on Monday.Send your orders to: service@windstoneeditions.com This email address goes to Susie’s desk, Karen isn’t in on Fridays. They are signed, but not numbered.Ok. I got about a hundred butternut poadsâ„¢ finished. I think I’ll do fifty with lavender eyes and fifty with hazel eyes. They really do look good with lavender. Green eyes look better on the ones with some green in them. I am the decider.
The person/name who got the #3 White SK isn’t anyone I recognise. Not only that, but the three highest bidders where ebay names that I don’t recognise either! Interesting.
You guys are so decisive. Where’s Pam when I need her?
copper83 wrote:Maybe this has been brought up and I just missed it, but with all the talk about favorite colors, am I the only one that sees the metallic Poads as male and the neutral ones as female? I mean, they are part bird, and with birds, the males are usually more flashy. Was this what you had in mind Melody, or is it just me? 😀
Well, in my story , poadsâ„¢ are all female. Like worker
bees. They come in many colors, because they are a form of living art. This doesn’t mean that there can’t ever be males too, though.
Maybe I should ask what color eyes you-all want. I was going to give them hazel eyes, since that is the classic color, but green or lavendar could work too. Maybe some of each?
They look a little like a cross between a guinea pig and a parrot type bird, but are mostly their own thing.

I don’t know that yet. Maybe Melody could answer? Melody? Uh… I don’t know. We need to paint a batch or two to see what our costs are, first.
When you see Windstone fakes/ copies/ or things that are potential infringements of our stuff on Ebay, please leave the auctions alone, and let us know about it.We need to purchase one ourselves to get on with legal action against them. The auctions often get pulled before we can get the evidence we need! So don’t scare that kind off.

oog. Too hard to paint!
Watergazer wrote:Is each poad going to be painted differently then? Each being OOAK? Or are you going to select different color runs and mass produce them?
I going to do batches of different colors. Not ooaks now, at least.
ruffian wrote:are they next to be done? Dont want a timeline or anything, just curious if they are due out anytime soon.
No, the next will be pearl crouching chicks, wolf colored(in stores), and I am hoping to get out brown hens and chicks after that. Then black ones.
But come to think of it, blacks would be much easier to do than browns, because I already have the paint for them! I’m gonna have to mix paint to try to match the brown color.hmmm… I’ll see how that goes..frozendragon wrote:so…
What color is this butter nut one that we are hearing about….
I asked in the topic with the pizza….but thought it might get lost in there…Butternut is the “classic” poad color like those in my siggy below, but without the metallic blue.

Right?????
Melody wrote:Quote:Right. That means I have no idea when.
ruffian wrote:Well I asked this before, but it kind of got lost in cow poop and confusion, 😆 .
So I was wondering if there is any chance for the new curlie to be made in peacock, to match the mother and male curls?Yes. I guess I will paint the curlie-pies in all the colors eventually ( do I use the word “eventually” a lot??)I have a sample painted of Peacock and Black Gold waiting for a chance to be painted.
